"This is Carson Daly, we have some very disturbing news and we are at a loss for words. We have just been informed that AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys and his fiancee Molly Timmons have been found dead at his home. He was 22 and she was 27. The boys have issued a statement and we will now go live to the hospital where the two deceased were pronounced dead."
"Today we have lost our best friends, AJ and Molly were two of god's angels here on earth and a piece of each of us is now gone. We are devestated and we ask that the media and our fans give us space, privacy and the time to heal. We know how much AJ meant to the fans and we urge you to pray for his family as well as Molly's for they have lost two incredible people. Please channel your grief positively as they would want you to do.

"Suicide Shocker" The National Enquirer's front page shouted.
"Two young fans commited suicide yesterday, devestated over the death of AJ McLean."

One week later
Howie walked up to the podium and looked out at the packed church, he looked at the video camera that was televising the funeral of his best friends to millions of people across the world and to the thousands of fans who lined the street outside the church. He cleared his throat and began
"I first want to take this time to thank all of the people who came out to celebrate the lives of two incredible people. Your support, love and prayers are what give us the strength to get through this terrible time. AJ is my best friend, I have seen him through talent competitions, broken relationships and the sucess of his first solo tour. AJ was more than a musician, he was a practical joker, he was a sensitive listener but above all he was the best friend that any of us could have ever asked for. I remember when Molly started touring with us, he knew that something was wrong with her and he was the first to ask her about it. When she got sick he was the one who sounded the alarms and forced her to get help. When Molly was diagnosed with cancer he never thought about jumping ship, he dedicated his life to helping her survive and for a while he suceeded. I remember being out on the road while Molly was sick, AJ would call her to make sure she didnt spend the day in bed feeling sorry for herself, he made sure she kept all her appoinments and he quit touring when she had to go through chemo because he wanted to be there for her. AJ made a promise that he would never leave her and I guess he kept that promise with her right till the end. It is very easy for me to sit here and be angry at him for what he did but when I sit back and see how happy they were when they were together I know that he would not have been happy without her. Denise I know how hard this is on you but look around and see how many lives your son touched and it may help you get through this. We are all here for you and if you ever need us we are here." Howie broke down and fell as he tried to walk off the alter. Nick and the rest of the guys ran forward to help him up and as they all walked back to the seats huddled together they remained a group.

One year later
"Baby hold Aiden, I want to get a picture of them cutting the cake" Skylar handed her baby boy to Kevin and snapped the picture just as Jessi smooshed the cake in Howie's face.
"That a girl Jess...mess up that beautiful face of his!" Kel and Andie cheered.
Howie smiled and kissed his wife and looked around at his friends. Hannah was playing in the dirt, oblivious that she was wearing a white flower girl dress. Kevin was holding his 8 month old son Aiden Joshua and Skylar was rubbing her growing belly. She was now 6 months pregnant and was glowing.
He turned his attention to Brian who was holding his newborn daughter Alicia Jade. Leighanne was off promoting her new movie.
He smiled at the hootchies who had once again gathered in Orlando to witness his marriage to Jessi. He knew that they had thrown Jessi quite a bachlorette party, though he knew he didn't want to really know what had taken place. He and Jessi were posing for pictures when he heard Nick start to panic. They looked over and saw a pale faced Kim Ann and an even paler faced Nick. They laughed when Nikola splashed water on her brother trying to calm him down.
"I think Nick is about to become a daddy" Jessi giggled.
"What a scary thought" Kevin mumbled as Skylar hit his shoulder and scolded him.
Bob brought the car around and got Kim Ann into it and was crying as Nick and Kim Ann drove off to the hospital. "Janie...come on Janie we have to go" Bob took his newly reconciled wife and they followed their son to the hospital.
"Never a dull moment in the Backstreet Family huh?" Brian, Howie and Kevin watched with humor, the commotion that was taking place. ~~**~~
Carter/Hearty
Nick and Kim Ann are tickled pink and blissfuly blue to announce the birth of their twins, Molly and Alexander born MArch 17. Proud first time grandarents are Robert and Jane Carter and Frank and Carol Hearty. Uncle Aaron cannot wait to teach Alex how to play nintendo. We would like to thank Nick's bandmates Kevin, Howie and Brian for helping him get where he is today and we would like to thank the two guardian angels that our babies are named after. AJ McLean and Molly Timmons, your love will live on in our children. We miss you both so much.
