Chapter 6

"Molly, you and Skylar have been tearing up the floor out there, come on and dance with me" AJ grabbed Molly's hand and they walked out onto the dance floor and started to grind to the beat of 5ive.

"Holy shit she can really move" Nick and Howie were sitting at the booth watching AJ and Molly dance.

"She sure can, " Howie muttered "Skylar let's go give them a run for their money." Howie dragged a tired Skylar out onto the floor. Molly kept stealing glances at Howie as the group danced. " I must admit he sure turned out handsome, not the buck toothed ass hole he was in high school," Molly thought to herself.

"I know I have seen her before, how the hell do I know her?" Howie thought to himself as he looked at the brunette who was dancing beside him.

"UGGHHHHH!" it cannot be that time already!" Molly knocked the alarm clock off her bedside table and stretched. She thought back to the previous night and smiled. She had never had a lot of friends and definatly had not gone to bars when she was in high school. She had more than made up for all the missed social activities last night. AJ had given her a shot and made her shoot it with him. She remembered the way it burned and how he laughed when she made a face. Her thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of her phone "10 bucks says it is Nick checking up on me" She bit her lip trying not to laugh as Nick said hi. "I know these guys better than they know themselves"

"He is so sweet, but how the hell do I forgive him when I have spent the last seven years hating him. He is defianlty not the same person he was in high school, his smile is so genuine and caring, his eyes so welcoming and his touch is so soft," Molly was writing in her journal as the bus drove to their concert when a hand on her shoulder made her jump. "Hey you, how's the head?"

"It is much better, I mean I actually got some sleep without Kevin's snoring" Skylar sat crossed legged on the couch beside Molly and glanced at the journal. "You too huh?"

"Yep, I have been writing in this since I was in high school, it is the closest thing to a best friend I have" Molly said softly.

"I can't belive that, you are way too awesome."

"Appearances are not all they are cracked up to be, so are you finding it hard without Kevin?" Molly asked, changing the subject.

"Actually it is nice to not have to be around him constantly. I mean don't get me wrong I love him with all my heart and I cherish the time we spend together but sometimes I feel like I am going to smack him if I have to see him"

Molly reached over and hugged her friend "Don't worry you guys will work it out, but for his sake I hope soon, I would hate to think of what AJ will do to him if he stays there for too long"

The girls laughed...

"Hi sexy....I need some loving, next stop Molly is going to jump on that bus and you can jump on me," Skylar said giggling as she spoke on the radio to Kevin.

"Hot damn, the hell with the next stop, why don't you pull the bus over beside mine and I will jump," AJ said loudly into the radio. "Don't go there Bone," Skylar laughed.

"Is anyone sitting here?" Howie stood over Molly who was working on her laptop.

"Umm no, though if you are looking for company you are in the wrong place, I am working."

"That's okay, I just hate eating alone," Howie put down his tray and scooted into the booth beside Molly. They had stopped at Denny's to grab a quick bite to eat before they headed over to the venue. "So what are you working on?" Howie asked.

"I am just going over the reservations for the hotel, it seems that we are one room short."

"No problem, AJ and I will share, we always used to when we were starting out. I am used to his air biscuits and his passion for late night room service," Howie laughed.

"You are a sucker for punishment aren't you?" Molly was laughing as she and Howie talked about AJ's bodily functions. "Ah we have to get going," Molly closed her laptop and announced to the guys that they had to be going. "No groaning, I know how much you all like to chill before the show, I am just watching out for your best interests" she said with a grin.

"I'll show you my best interest, you sexy thang," AJ winked as he walked onto his bus.

Molly and Howie walked silently back to the bus. Molly could not believe that she had such a great conversation with the man she was supposed to hate and Howie not believing that the ice queen had finally melted.
