Hi! Welcome to my homepage!

THE EARLY YEARS

In the beginning,(so I've been told), Jethro Tull was more of a blues-based rock band. The original members included: Ian Anderson, Glenn Cornick, Mick Abrahams and Clive Bunker. After the first album, Mick Abrahams left and was replaced by Martin Barre.

This Was     (1968)

This debut album contains: "A Song For Jeffrey" which can also be found on The Best Of Jethro Tull: the Anniversary Collection. Heavily blues-oriented. A more complete review will be coming within the next 2 to 3 weeks!

Stand Up     (1969)

This album contains: "Bouree" and "Nothing Is Easy" which can also be found on The Best. A more complete review will be coming within the next 3 weeks or so!

Benefit     (1970)

This album contains: "Teacher" which can also be found on Living In The Past, M.U. and The Best Of Jethro Tull. Upon first lesson, it seems to be the most impressive of the first three recordings. It is a definite precursor to the style on Aqualung. A more complete review will be coming within the next 3 weeks!
