My English skill is dreadfully limitted. Some day I'll get it RIGHT !! This page updates much slowly as I can. And now, I can only say something like this.

"Well, I'm just a Japanese poor boy. You know what I mean ?"

The Action ---> Mighty Baby

The Ultimate Action --- Anthology Mighty Baby's First LP

The Action is often introduced as a cult mods band. They are blue-eyed soul group at the start. Later they became a psychedelic rock group. At last THE ACTION broke up and some of the members ware formed MIGHTY BABY. MIGHTY BABY was a british heavy rock group with a little bit laid-back sound, that is probabry influenced by THE BYRDS, ERIC CLAPTON, BOB DYRAN & THE BAND, directly or indirectly. In 1970's, Alan King formed The Ace.

Reggie King (Vocal)

Alan King (Guitar)

Pete Watson (Guitar)

Mike Evans (Bass)

Roger Powell (Drums)

The Who

Sell Out LP

Most Well Known Group. Their '60s recordings were not many at all. They had problems in management, and that their first album has been hidden in the shelf for a long time. Though they say "Who's Next" or "Quadrophenia" is their best works, I don't agree. I have not much concerned about those albums. My favorite album is "My Generation".

Roger Daltrey (Vocal)

Pete Townshend (Guitar, Vocal)

John Entwhistle (Bass, Vocal)

Keith Moon (Drums)

Kenny Jones (Drums : Joined after Keith's death. ex. The Small Faces, etc.)

The Small Faces

Anthology LP From The Beginning --- Decca LP

Ronnie Lane (Bass, Vocal)

Ian Mclagan (Keyboard, Vocal)

Kenny Jones (Drums)

Manfred Mann

The Five Faces Of Manfred Mann LP Anthology of Fontana Years

Several times they had changed members except Mann, Hugg, McGuiness. Full explanation of member changes are complicated. I'd like to introduce only a part of them.

[ EMI Years ]

Manfred Mann (Keyboard)

Paul Jones (Vocal)

Mike Vickers (Guitar)

Tom McGuiness (Guitar, Bass)

Mike Hugg (Drums)

[ Fontana Years ]

Manfred Mann (Keyboard)

Mike Hugg (Drums)

Tom McGuiness (Guiter)

Mike d'Abo (Vocal)

Them

Them Featuring Van Morrison LPThe Best Of THEM --- Anthology

THEM was an irish group. They were awfully good R&B band ever been. Van Morrison was the only member who continued the band through the many changings of the members.

The Spencer Davis Group

Eight Days A Week --- Anthology

Little Stieve Winwood sang the blues as if he had been Chicago Ghetto.

The Creation

How Does It Feel To Feel --- Anthology

The legendary group led by Eddie Philips, who was asked to join THE WHO by Pete Townshend. They came back with an LP "Power Surge" (Creation label) in 90's.

The Pretty Things

S.F. Sorrow LP

The Remo Four

Anthology --- Smile

The Remo Four was a well-hiden secret in the British beat scene. They often played for solo singers like Tommy Quickly, Johnny Sandon, etc.

Graham Gouldman

LP --- Graham Gouldman Thing

Graham Gouldman is known as a member of 10CC. Former he was a song writer for The Hollies, Herman's Hermits, The Yardbirds, The Mindbenders, etc. This is a self-cover songs set released only in the US. Co-produced by Peter "Herman" Noon.

The Yardbirds

The Yardbirds were the most well-known group, because Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page played the guitar for the group. You know Keith Relph, the lead singer and harpist of the band, was not the best singer those days, but he was really a nice singer --- he was passionate. He needed much luck but didn't have enough. He has been dead for about 30 years.

The Zombies

LP --- Odessey And Oracle

Zombie Heaven Page

Cilla Black

Cilla Black The Abbey Road Decades

A girl named Pricilla White worked as a clerk in the legendary "Cavern Club" was prefered to be a singer everyone loved.
