Chase McKittrick was my very bestest friend Why he killed himself I'll never understand What was he thinking with that gun in his hand? Makes me wonder for how long he had this planned Why'd you do it Chase I'm sure death sucks as you have now found out Why'd you do it Chase I miss you as these words come out of my mouth Chase I miss you never forget you spend time each day thinking about you No matter how long it takes I'll hang with you again Chase Didn't even leave us a note to tell us what you were thinking about All you left us was some time to sit around and pout and wonder why you never asked us for any help cause we would have done anything
Talk about staying true as if it's a joke to you Sometimes I wonder who defined those words to you You seem to be content switching from crew to crew I'll show you what it means to stay true Say that you've seen the light Know this time you are right Pushed aside your old ways Say that was yesterday Wear the X on your hand Makes you feel like a man Tell the others that they're wrong I know you won't last long The weekend comes and the X washes off of your hand You're going out drinking you're going to the bars with your friends A week ago this wasn't part of your plan Said you were going to stay true to the very end
The man walks into the courtroom smiling smugly cause he knows
he'll get no more than suspended sentence The young boy enters the room holding each of his parents' hands.
Just what's happening here he still doesn't understand The judge looks and the child and he looks down at the man.
The man looks at the child and he knows he's in command. For the crime of raping this innocent young child the man is sentenced to see a psychologist for a while Justice compromised the family begins to cry hatred realized this man deserves to die Actions not denied the man retains his pride revenge is justified this man deserves to die
LUCKY
Never said thank you for all that they've done You always thought that you were the only one Never polite you were always acting rude Just as long as they're still buying things for you What would it take for you to realize? Tears of pain in your parents' eyes Not enough that they've taken care of you Not enough that they've always pulled you through Not enough they let you be what you want to be Not enough and you wonder why they can't see You don't know how lucky you are Without them you wouldn't have come this far
I KICK MY JUMPSEAT
How many times have we made plans and you've cancelled them with tied hands You told me that something came up when will you see that it's not enough It's not just me you do this to but everyone you run into I'm just telling you cause I want it to end and then maybe we could be friends Put it off till tomorrow you can do your work tomorrow Why do you always wait to do your work until the very last minute You know well that right away is the time that you should begin it You're always much too busy doing something but that's always nothing One day this will be the end of you maybe you'll see then what I said is true We all suffer from your procrastination Can't you see it causes complications We all suffer from your procrastination You should work more on cooperation One day I know you'll see the mistakes in your ways and you'll come back begging and pleading for the good ol' days
2 BILLION A DAY
2 billion a day towards weapons of war this just can't go on anymore What lies behind this outpour of cash? 2 billion a day how many worlds must be smashed? Weapons used as a means of destruction 2 billion a day another sign of corruption So many topics we choose to ignore just 2 billion ways to make an ignorant poor How many guns could we possibly need? There are people to clothe and there are mouths to feed Too late now we've planted the seed We've sunk so low that I cannot believe 2 BILLION A DAY (X8)
DEATH TRAP
It breaks my heart To see you dying there It breaks my heart To see that you don't care You don't know what you're doing to yourself and the environment Companies try to make us need because of overwhelming greed
YOUR HONOR
Just because there's artwork peeking out from under my clothes It shouldn't give you a reason to loathe me and Just because my chosen mode of transport is a skate It shouldn't give you justification to hate It goes much deeper than the ink in my skin all my crazy piercings or the places I've been What you have to look at is what's inside What I believe in and the rules I abide You don't know me You can't judge me
MORE
You just wanted to fit in thought that you could never win couldn't come out of your shell You could never talk to girls even though they rocked your world wasn't going all that well Then you found out if you drink you don't even have to think words just come out on their own The illusion it creates makes you think that you're so great even though you're still alone And I see you're getting worse you don't even know yourself Now you're really getting worse and you can't control yourself You just wanted to fit in you see what you could have been but you threw it all away Now they've got you coming back for more
NEVER LET YOU GO
When I look into your eyes I see a world in touch with mine That is all I need to see When I put my hand in yours You make me feel so reasured That is how I like to feel When I hear you on the phone You make me feel so not alone That is how I want to feel When you're standing by my side You make me feel so alive That is how I need to feel You make me want to never let you go
