LEO'S TAVERN
In May of 1998, I was fortunate enough to, first of all, enjoy a trip to Ireland, and secondly, see parts of County Donegal (including Gweedore and environs.) I of course visited Leo's Tavern. The following are some pictures of the interior and exterior of the tavern, as well as a scan of a promotional flyer from the tavern. (My apologies for parts of it being cut off during the scan.)

No introduction is needed to this tavern which is perhaps one of Donegal's most famous pubs. Leo Brennan along with his wife Baba and family run this highly entertaining establishment. Leo himself, an extremely popular musician, is the Father of the highly renowned CLANNAD and of course the success story of ENYA. CLANNAD first began their career on this very stage, popular hits include "Harry's Game" and albums "Macalla" and "Past and Present".
ENYA, the younger daughter who needs no introduction for her musical achievements had her album "Watermark" a No. 1 seller and "Orinoco Flow" charted all over the world. At Leo's Tavern the walls display gold, silver and platinum discs of this amazingly talented family. Because of their career they attract many of their musical friends who perform or just enjoy the night's entertainment - from Val Doonican, U2, Paul Brady, Christy Moore, Ronnie Drew, Joe Elliot to name but a few. "drop in, you'll never know who you might meet."
Bar food is served with an appetising menu. Tour buses and parties are also catered for.
