Trigger For Happiness- This song helped get me kicked out of Canada. While I was
trying to cross the border, they tagged me for a search, for the mistake of not
getting the right stamp last time I crossed. Then they searched my stuff and
found some scribbled notes in the back of a notebook I did on the bus after
listening to the song and deciding it kicked so much ass I needed to write a
review to share with people. The part that sealed my fate was when they read
"this album isn't just music for entertainment, it's an omen of the apocalypse-
you don't sing about killing record executives and the president if you care
about commercial suicide." Fuck tha poleece!! Yeah, Concentration was my
favorite album in high school when it came out. I listened to it until my tape
wore out. Then just a few weeks ago I got another copy after not hearing it for
years and it's every bit as timelessly great. So much potential in this band,
it's a shame they weren't recognized as having more t!
alent than any other band from 90's industrial-rock and fuck, almost deserving
their own genre. Anyways, I know there are a few rare remixes, a b-side or two
and maybe some live tracks out there somewhere- if anyone has these, get a hold
of me, I want them.

Tryst- Because it's on the soundtrack to one of my favorite
cartoons:"Mega Man". It's not my favorite on the soundtrack, but it's pretty
good.

Solar Temple- Pretty obvious, really. Its one of the most lyrically
significant pieces written in the last generation (fuck the flower children!)
Seen em' live? Nope....I'd probably explode (into......)

Terminal City- it was a close call between this and x-insurrection and cicciolina. This song kicks ass though with the fat bass line and the vocals and just everything coming together
sadly I have not seen the machines live and i cry about it every day

Tryst- I listed to this song once as I was trying to write a story, and the story turned out great.
I listed to that song repeatedly for about nine hours, and I just felt so inspired...

Albert Speer- This actually isn't my favorite song. I can't decide on a favorite song because there are so many awesome songs. I really love the lyrics on this one, though. Bleh, I can't decide on my favorite album either.
I've never seen Machines live. I'm too young. Agh what I would give to see them live. That would be so damn awesome.

Limiter- Lyrics. The whole sound, and how it makes me feel. We all have something that limits us. Always.
This page is incredibly helpful. I just wish I could have gotten into Machines while they were still around. |

Golgatha Tenement Blues- It's so dark and I feel like I'm in The Crow movie when I listen to it. It's a great song! |
