18) I want it that way
I was so exited when I came into the arena. I was very close to the
stage. I couldn't believe it and me and my friends started screaming. First
there was an opening act. E-Life and Fabienne (Dutch acts) and Tatyana Ali. Most of the time she stood on our site of the stage. She performed for about 25
minutes. It took very long before the guys were coming. That was
because it was to light in the arena.
But finally at 21:15 they flew in on surfboards dressed in blue, spacey
outfits. Nick had his hair in a pony tail sticking on the top of his
head.
The guys got of their boards and the band began to play. "Larger than
life" was the first song they performed and after that "Get down." With "As
long as you love me" they did the chair routine. But the best part was "Quit
playin' games." Towards the middle of the song they began to fly. Nick
was flying right above me :-) Like 2 meters or something. He was wearing
this hot, black outfit. With the "Perfect fan" they pulled 5 mothers with
their daughters out of the audience and sang to them. It was really sweet.
With "Back to your heart" the guys were sitting on one side of the stage
(our side LOL) and Kevin was playing the piano in the middle on the elevated
stage. They all agreed that this song was one of their favorites. You
know what's really cool? That they still sing "We've got it going on"
because they sing that in every show. They must have sang it for about a million
times.
The dancers are a big part in the show because they dance with almost
every song. With "That's the way I like it" the guys were dancing very close
with the female dancers.
After the show someone told me that Howie cried during "Show me the
meaning." I didn't saw that because Howie was standing on the other
site of the stage. They left the stage and stayed away a bit longer. Finally
they came back for "It's gotta be you." They were dressed in different
outfits. This was the first time I saw Nick's tattoo. I first thought it was a
dolphin but a friend said it was a shark. In this song they introduced the
band members. Tim is not in the band anymore. Confetti came down and I
managed to catch some. They thanked the audience and left. After a long
pause they came back for, of course "I want it that way." They thanked
again and the show ended with fireworks. It was my second BSB concert I went
to but this one is definitely the best!!
