I don't know where you are located but MRR has several records. I belive the one that I heard was live at San Quinton (If it was that it sounded like a masterpiece compared to "Love Us Or Hate Us We Don't Give A Fuck") and many others I can't remember the names to.Ugly things put out an issue that had tons of photos an interview, complete history of the band etc....A friend of mine also has a flyer of a notorious canceled show (The show that was to be at the Stud but was canceled because they decited to do flyers whith picturers of famous war criminals on them starting with HITLER).So if you want any of these write me and I can probably can get them. long live rock &

Hi, Muffin Bottom. My boss wanted to see your web page. He wanted to see what I meant when I said I knew a little bit about how to do one. He's impressed. Keep up the good work.

Hey, Great page!!! Crime is in my top 10 of the Greatest Punk Rock n' Roll bands ever. I don't think they're unknown as some may think...there's a dedicated following of people I know who like to crack open a few cold Buds and throw on "SF's Doomed." My bu dies, the RC5 (from Seattle) do a cover of "I Knew This Nurse" and I usually do guest vox. Check out their page -- great 70's punk like the Pagans and Radio Birdman. I've tried to con my band into covering "Samurai" or "Frustration" but it ain't gonna h ppen. I hope to see a vinyl compilation of Crime's discography soon...also if anyone knows where I can get a Crime t-shirt or button (I know, I know, make your own, it's punk...), please contact me at the e-mail address. Again, great page for a great ba d.

True story: back in late August of '92, a friend and I ducked into a donut shop on 16th St. here in San Francisco. After we'd settled down with our coffee, I looked up from my maple bar to see Frankie Fix standing by the cash register, ordering a sandwic to go. Since Crime had been my favorite p. rock band for a long while, I was able to recognize him from the record covers. I said to my friend, "dude--it's Frankie Fix", and he heard us and quickly ducked behind the display case before bolting out the oor. I guess he was used to getting recognized, but he might have thought we were some drug dealers who were out to break his legs and mess his hair up. I saw him a couple of years later, standing on Van Ness Ave. with a cardboard sign that read "starving musician--please help", and it bummed me out for a week. He looked like he'd been through some hard times since the days of "Hot Wire My Heart" when he was playing at the Mab and hanging out with the likes of Debbie Harry. A few weeks later he came into the cafe where I was working, clearly trying to do some shoplifting. I talked to him a few minutes, and he was cool enough, but you could tell that e had other things on his mind than records he'd played on nearly twenty years before. I haven't seen him since then, and apparently he died within the last year or two. I don't know the details, but I can imagine it had something to do with controlled ubstances. Why aren't there 14-year-old kids walking around with "Frankie Fix Lives" t-shirts?

Oct. 6, 1998 This is a decent page. I have never actually heard any of CRIME'S music (cause I can't find any). I read that article in UGLY THINGS #14 about them back in late Oct. 95 and was kinda interested.
