The Pilot of the Airwaves Amazing List of 80s Groups!!

Remember all the cool music of the 80s? Well, here are links to the groups that made the music!

Note to the fans of 80s Music and the Pilot of the Airwaves: Believe it or not (and other people who create their own web sites will believe it), this page took me several days to create back in March of 1998. Since then many of the links have gone dead. (There's nothing I hate more on a webpage than dead links!) I finally got around to going through this page link by link, and I marked the dead ones. However, I left the listings in place so I can go back later and find other web-sites to replace the dead links.

I hope to do this a piece at a time over the next few weeks. (I no longer have the time to sit in front of the computer for hours on end.)

If you have any suggestions or questions I can be reached at pilot80@hotmail.com

A Message From The Official President of the 80s, Ronald Wilson Reagan

Photograph of President Reagan Ahhh, I remember the 80s, when the music was good, we faced off against the Soviet Union, with all our nukes, and I had my finger on little red button! Ahhh, yes, it was a good time to be alive!

The Coolest show on TV was Miami Vice, and if you liked comedy, you could watch Taxi or Cheers.

And that's when I first saw a small Caddilac! You know, the world was changing, and fast! Why, if it wasn't for Nancy's astrologer, I wouldn't have been able to keep up!

Yes, my fellow Americans, whenever I hear the tunes from those groups that made their mark on the pop music scene, I'm taken back to those good old days. So take a nostalgic journey back to those days by clicking on the links to great 80s groups, and pass the Jellybeans!

(Celebrity quotation impersonated.)

"Only sick music makes money today."
-- Friedrich Nietzsche, philosopher (1844-1900) in 1888
