Luna's Type O Negative Concert Review

April 14, 1997 at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY

The whole show was great! It was the last show of the tour with Stuck Mojo and Drain, so the chicks from Drain were hanging around on the stage the whole time after they were done and the guys from Stuck Mojo were hangin on stage for the first few songs TON did too.

Drain sang with Stuck Mojo, and they were being real silly throwing ice cubes and spraying TON with water guns, it was funny.

They came up and gave Peter a present and he opened it. It looked like candles or something I couldnt really tell. He looked at them and said I have no idea what these are, we'll look at them better later, then he threw them into the crowd. :)

Then Bonz from Stuck Mojo (the lead singer) came up and did Kill all the white people with TON. It was awesome!

Kenny smashed one of his guitars and threw it in the pit. You shoulda seen the fight that went on over it! I thought it was gonna become a riot!! :)

I had a great spot, right in the middle where the railing is just above the pit.

I may have left out a song or two.

After the show we hung around by the bus. Josh came out first and only a couple of people knew who he was. I said HI Josh and then people realized who he was and we went over and got his autograph.

Then Johnny came out and most people realized who he was and I said Hi to him and he told me he had to go talk to his brother and that he'd come back. He did come back later and signed stuff.

Then Peter came out, of course everyone knew him and crowded around him. I'm pissed at myself cuz I got totally blank and had no clue what to say to him. I went up to him and he said Hi Sweetie and I just said hi and handed him my ticket to sign, then I said thank you and backed away a little so other people could get to him.

I stood around listening to him talk to people. He looked up at me a few times and smiled and he looked down at my pentagram a couple of times.

September 3, 1999 - Since this show I've seen TypeO 3 other times for a grand total of 5 times. They have been awesome everytime.
I got to meet Peter one other time in Boston Nov. 1997 and I completely froze then too. I guess I get star struck when I see him. My friend and me had a picture taken with him but for some reason it didnt come out :(
I am going to see them again in October. Hopefully, if I get to meet them again, I can manage to say something this time!!
