Okay, here's their response and it includes news on the new
album too!

ARISTA is by no means done with the promotion of "The Preachers Wife". The
reason for the remix ablum is to raise the sales of the soundtrack. People
want both the original and the remix. Also there is a promotion going on
now that gives the purchaser of "The Preachers Wife" sound track a remix
single only available through this promotion. I am sorry that we have let
you down with the promotion of the record. Hope we can prove ourselves to
you in the future.
From our "believe this news story at your own risk" file, we
bring you the latest on the bumpy marriage of Whitney
Houston and Bobby Brown. Japan's Sankei Shimbum paper
reports that the singer, while on a ten-day tour of Japan,
awoke in the wee hours on May 11 to find that her hubby had
slipped out of their hotel room for a night on the town. An
infuriated Houston tracked Brown down to a nightclub and
reportedly hauled him out. Brown was apparently so upset
about his evening's abrupt end that he tossed his $5,000
wedding ring out the window of the limo on the way back to
the hotel. The couple left Japan for New York on Thursday with
daughter Bobbi Khristina in tow.

The soundtrack to "The Preacher's Wife" gives way to another potential smash single from Houston.
It's also a wonderfully refreshing release that smartly sidesteps her tried-and-true balladry in favor of
a credible foray into jeep-funk territory. Bolstered by an unusually saucy groove by Babyface,
Houston cuts loose with a performance that shows her tempering her revered technical prowess
with lots of shoulder-shakin' sass. Expect to hear lots of this gem in the coming weeks.
The next single from "The Preacher's Wife" is "My Heart Is Calling" and should
also be remixed in time to be included on the album.
Nothing has been said of the actual Greatest Hits CD which is due at the end of
this year and Arista have also said nothing about the remaining two singles that
were sceduled to be lifted from "The Preacher's Wife" - "You Were Loved" and
"Joy".
Looks like it's going to be one hell of a year for Whitney and her fans! Thanks to Manish

WHITNEY IN MELBOURNE
Whitney's got a major throat problem and her 2nd night for Melbourne is cancelled. The doctor told her if she performed it would go worse. Hope she recovers.
BOBBY GETS A NEW CAR!
I guess WHITNEY HOUSTON is all heart when it
comes to her bad-boy husband BOBBY BROWN. Just nine months after Brown wrote off
her $90,000 black Porsche in a crash in Miami, Florida the forgiving Houston has presented
him with the keys to a $150,000 Rolls Royce. The delighted Brown has told friends he will
drive it from Miami to their New Jersey mansion just to show it off. Then he will probably go
out drinking to celebrate and wrap it around a tree

ROCK 'N ROLL MARRIAGE WATCH (PART II):
There will always be salacious
speculation about the relationship between singer WHITNEY HOUSTON and her
driving-skill impaired hubby BOBBY BROWN. But the tempestuous liaison, which has
accounted for many newspaper revelations over the years, seems to be in a particularly
lovey, mellow period. On her recent tour of the Far East, Houston drew more than 42,000
people to an arena in Osaka, Japan - with Brown appearing right alongside her,
hand-in-hand with their daughter. To the delight of the crowd, the youngster, dressed in a suit
and tie, joined her mother in a duet. After Tokyo the trio will hit Taiwan, Australia and
Hawaii, before returning to home base for a concert in New Jersey.
