There is a Whitney-Faith Evans duet. Those were official words came right out of Whitney's mouth. See Oct issue of Sister 2 sistter Mag Interview! I thought it was just another rumor

Jars Of Clay follows its platinum debut with "Much Afraid" (Essential/Silvertone). The quartet, a Cinderella story of Christian music, is striving to cement its position in the mainstream with its new album, produced by Stephen Lipson (Sting, Whitney Houston, Simple Minds, Annie Lennox). (From Billboard)
This means there is NOT a confirmed album out for Cinderella! Whitney was just cited as an artist produced by Lipson. Stephen Lipson is the British producer of "Step By Step" by the way!
Today I watched Mariah on Oprah. When she sang she tried to be just like Whitney. She tried to play with her voice like Whitney does but she didn't cut it. On Hero when the high notes came she had a choir behind her and had them over power her. You couldn't hear a word she said. I actually thought that Whitney's performance at the Grammys was better than Mariah singing "Hero." Butterfly is a beautiful song and it looks like it will hit #1.

Now on to Whitney! Today on E! Gossip Shoow they said that when Whitney was at the Memorial for Versace she saw a camera crew and said she would not perform. She said it would be "cheesy" and didn't want to capitilize on his death. She signed an agreement that said that if they aired it on TV she would not be shown singing. On HBO they are showing promo after promo for CW because it is an open house weekend for people to order it. On one ad that caught my attention the announcer said "WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUALLY, THEN THERE'S WHITNEY."
(I'm glad they are not showing Whitney doing the Versace thing. I think too many people are capitalizing on deaths of famous people. Whitney doesn't need to be one of them. Thank you, Whitney)

Nippy will be on ET Monday, She will sing a duet with Brandy.

I thought this next thing for the fans to look out for you can post it if you want to. Also watch for Whitney to be up for at least 3 Emmys next year for Individual Music or Variety Special for CW and for made for TV musical or movie and Supporting Actress in a Musical for Cinderella. Also watch her for an Emmy for individual performance if she is nominated for the Grammys(if she performs there). Even sooner watch her to be up for Golden Globes for Cinderella in Jan/Feb.

From the SBS Board said that Puff Daddy will be producing a Whitney song. I'm not sure about this.
Soul bad boy BOBBY BROWN is ditching his wild man image to try and become Mr Nice Guy. The star, who is married to soul sensation WHITNEY HOUSTON, took time out this week from a photo shoot in Harlem, New York City, to chat with hundreds of fans who had gathered to watch. Brown even hugged and kissed a few babies just to prove he had turned a new leaf and told fans that wife Houston will appear on his new album FOREVER. She will sing a cover version of the JAMES BOND theme song NOBODY DOES IT BETTER, which is a rocking tune if I do say so myself. This seems accurate enough for me since Bobby's new album is indeed to be released on October 7.

From David's psychic preditions:
On the season premiere of Oprah there is supposed to be a special SUPERSTAR. I thought it could be Whit since CW is in less than 3 weeks away from Monday when the show airs. It says that the person is telling us a secret otr something. I thought it could be Whit because she might not have time closer to CW because she may be trying to finish up new songs for CW and she also has to do many rehearsals!!
Actually, the special artist will be Mariah Carey who will appear on September 15th.
Bobby is set to have a new album out on October 7. Get it!

Whitney was in Entertainment Weekly Sept 12. It said in the music section under remakes we don't want to hear is "Love Is A Battlefield".
Whitney was in the Disney Magazine with a cover photo and a photo inside for Cinderella. There's also a pic of Bernadete Peters as the step mom and the step sisters. It was in the fall issue it should be out for another month or 2.

September 10 [10:00 EDT] -- Madonna read a poem, and Elton John, Whitney Houston and Jon Bon Jovi each sang a song Monday night, at a private memorial for fashion designer Gianni Versace, in New York City.
Courtney Love and Lisa Marie Presley were also there, at the Egyptian temple of Dendur in the Metropolitan Museum Of Art.
The untitled poem that Madonna read was written by an unnamed Native American, and was given to her by new age author Deepak Chopra.

Here in NY today, Madonna (along with Whitney Houston and Elton John, who both sang) attended the memorial for designer Gianni Versace at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. While the museum went to GREAT lengths to keep the press away (ie keeping them across the street and covering the walkway from the street ALL THE WAY to the door on three sides). Madonna gave a eulogy, John sang, and Houston closed the ceremony in song.

Even with less-than-usual airplay for "Honey", Mariah Carey achieves her 12th #1 hit to break the three way tie between herself, Whitney and Madonna of the female with the most #1 hits. It is important to note "Honey" has not made top ten in airplay. It is declining in airplay points yet it manages to make a #1 entrance due to the discount of the single at 99 cents. This formula ensures high sales of the single and thus, the #1 debut. It will likely decline next week. However, Whitney no longer holds the distinction of female with the most #1 hits.
BOBBY BROWN never acknowledges WHITNEY HOUSTON - only WHITNEY BROWN.
The soul bad boy hates it when strangers chat up his wife and call her Mrs Houston - and takes it as an insult. He fumes, "It's like slapping me in the face if anyone walks up to us and says 'Mrs Houston'. MY PREROGATIVE singer Brown admits his over-protective behaviour has created problems within their rocky five-year relationship. He says, "We have arguments. We're human. She gets loud and I get loud. No matter whether you fight today or an hour ago, you never go to sleep with any pain on your mind. "Even if you don't find the answer right then, you search for it." But Brown admits the Hollywood spotlight puts their marriage under so much strain he cannot guarantee their future. He says, "Who knows how long the rest of our lives will be. We are together today and we are going to be together tomorrow and we plan on being together on the day after that. "But you can only plan on being together as long as you are together."

Whitney is probably recording now in the Hit Factory for new songs in Classic Whitney. She was spotted at Hit Factory just the other day. Hopefully, she's recorded some great songs!

Will Smith and girlfriend, Jada Pinkett, have written a movie script. In an interview, it was asked if they were gonna star in it together, but Will said that it would be kinda awkward for them to work together seeing as they're dating, so they are apparently talking to Whitney about it...

I'm sure many of you have heard of the death of Princess Diana. It is indeed sad and a loss for everyone. This woman was so strong and she worked to help people and do good for others. She was working for humanitarian causes but the media has taken this lovely woman away from all of us. The paparazzi, or the stalkarazzi, followed Princess Di's car in huge speed through a Paris tunnel and the car the Princess was in lost control and 3 of the 4 people inside, including the driver, Princess Diana and her boyfriend were killed in the accident. It is terrible famous people have to put up with this so I hope everyone: reporters, media people, paparazzi and even fans to respect these people. They are human beings and wish to have their privacy and not to be chased around. I hope the world learns a lesson. I guess this is the crap Whitney doesn't want to go through and that she is so frustrated about.
