- "She Lets It Out"
- Noel Gallagher copied the actions of his little brother by rushing down to the Fitz and Firkin, home of The Maker's Makerbreaker Circuit, for a quick pint after the birth of his baby daughter. Expect to see Michael Douglas putting in an appearance there any month soon...
- Noel Gallagher and wife Meg are celebrating the arrival of their daughter Anais, who was born in London on Thursday, January 27.
- Meg was taken into hospital at 8C&M, giving birth to the 71b 20z girl some five and a half hours later. Later that day, the proud father said from a nearby pub: "I'm relieved and really happy. Meg's really well. She's sat up in bed and talking, drinking champagne and planning the future".
- Noel, said to have been at the birth, said his new daughter was, "like all new babies are, kicking, screaming, shouting." He added, "I'm sort of gradually coming down on the alcohol. I was quite nervous and shaky for a while, but I'm all right now."
- Noel confirmed that the baby has been named after the famous writer Anais Nin - the first person to publish erotic, lesbian stories in the Twenties. The film "Henry And June", was about her marriage to erotic writer Henry Miller.
- Not such a good week for Liam, though. He was arrested after calling the police to his home last Friday (January 21) - and was promptly released without charge. He challenged someone with a camera outside the house, where wife Patsy and baby son Lennon were indoors alone, when the photographer allegedly refused to give any ID and then tried to block Liam's path. The police decided that there was no case to answer. The photographer, Not Backing, has argued that Liam was abusive, kicked his car and threw a punch. He's demanding an apology.
- Oasis, meanwhile, are planning to make a revealing on-the-road documentary of their upcoming world tour.
- Finally, former Oasis guitarist Bonehead is reported to be working on a solo career with a "young Welsh singer" and producer Owen Morris
