Stars Come Out For Striking Dockers

Ocean Colour Scene, The Boo Radleys and Noel Gallagher joined Who legend Pete Townshend at the latest instalment of "Rock The Dock".

"Rock The Dock" is the music industry's attempt to raise money for, and call attention to the plight of, those still affected by an unsatisfactory resolution to the Liverpool dockers' dispute.

It was an evening of contrast between the artists' low-key acoustic sets (Gallagher performing "Stand By Me", "Talk Tonight", "Wonderwall" and The Beatles' "Help"), and the glitzy over-indulgence of those attending the second of three invite-only opening nights at The Sound Republic at 10, Wardour Street off London's Leicester Square.
