Oasis have announced a bargain deal for fans buying their long-promised B-sides compilation, "The Masterplan". Released by Creation on November 2, it will be available at a specially reduced price, and fans should expect to pay no more than Ł10.99 for the CD and Ł6.99 for the cassette.
The album was originally intended for release only in North America and other countries where the B-sides had previously only been available on import. Due to popular demand, it will now be released worldwide.
No singles will be released from the album, but a video is being made of a version of "Acquiesce!. This features live footage from the band's last UK show at Manchester's G-Mex, and hitherto unseen on-the-road material from the recent world tour.
As previously announced, the tracks were chosen by the band and some of their fans, through an Internet competition. They are: "Acquiesce", "Underneath The Sky", "Talk Tonight", "Going Nowhere", "Fade Away", "The Swamp Song", "I Am The Walrus ", "Listen Up", "Rockin' Chair", "Half The World Away", "(It's Good) To Be Free", "Stay Young", "Headshrinker" and "The Masterplan".
