- "Noel's Chemical Collaboration"
- Noel Gallagher: "If I was in any other band than Oasis, it would be The Chemical Brothers."
- Noel's latest collaboration with Ed and Tom is released as a single this week by Freestyle Dust/ Virgin. Taken from the Chemicals' recent Number One album "Surrender", which has sold more than a million copies in three weeks, "Let Forever Be" features Noel on vocals and follows the cuccessful "Hey Boy, Hey Girl". Gallagher's previous venture with the band was "Setting Son" which topped the singles chart in 1996.
- The promo accompanying the new single is described as "a mass of Nineties psychedelia". Only just completed, it has already been declared an MTV Breakthrough Video in America....

- Meanwhile, Mel G [Spice Girls] jetted off on holiday with Meg Mathews, according to The Sunday People - "leaving her husband at home". The friends supposedly went to Tuscany together for a week's break, after Meg had "only just" got back from a trip to Egypt with hubby Noel Gallagher.
