![]() Real Life was one of the fringe bands of the New Wave movement in the 80s. They had a few hits in an underground sense, and one or two of their songs got some major recognition as well as soundtrack deals. However, for the most part they passed unknown to American audiences through the 80s and even moreso through the 90s. Two of their albums never got a domestic release, although in the late 80s there were two "reprint" albums that put most of their songs into the forefront again. After that, they had one more release in the very, very early 90s. This had a minor club hit, but then the band disappeared without a trace for more than half a decade. Finally another cd darkened the horizon. All four of the american release cds will be reviewed here.
