My Family
A little bit
about my family.....
My dad is of
Polish descent. He's a second generation U.S. Citizen. Dad grew up in the city
of Detroit, Michigan. My dad has led a pretty interesting life. He has been a
police officer in Detroit, a machinist in Utah, and finally he moved to Kentucky to work
as a machinist - and he met my mom! Dad is currently retired and spends his time
working with antiques - mostly clocks, pocket watches, and other timepieces in general.
I get my love of antiques from him.
Mom is of
Irish/Scottish descent. Her family has been here for quite some time. Mom grew
up in western Kentucky in the same community in which I was born. She also graduated
from Heath High School. Mom is a nurse who works with special needs children and the
elderly. Mom is also the A-#1 skating fan in our family!
I have one
older brother, Leonard, who is married to Jill. They have a son, Ty (named after the
baseball great Ty Cobb.)
