Up a river without a.......
Instead of a snappy caption for each pic, I decided to dialog the series of pics below. Kinda give you a feel for being there with me? Remember that there are bunches more, these are just those that have returned.
We had been hiking the Appalachian Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you've never been there...GO! It's breathtaking!! 8-) We were actually off the main trail about 3-4 miles when we came to a river. Even though we had'nt seen a "sole" other than deer and squirrels for hours we decided to go up river, off the trail even a little farther (a little privacy ya know! `-} )These pics are as I'm trying to cool my sore feet and find "just the right rock" to relax and well......you get the idea! ;-) We did find the "perfect rock" in the middle and I felt like "Eve" with Adam (TB)!! Sorry....can't post those! hehe The rocks you see here are from where we decided to put our stuff before heading out to the middle. Did'nt pack in any food so were'nt too concerned about bears, had'nt seen one all day anyway! But did see a 10 pt buck about 15-20 yards away with his little harem of 4 doe. As more pics come back we'll continue the adventure.............(edited by Angel...TB can't spell "TB"!hehe)
Was'nt that relaxing!!! Mmmmmmm.....hope you enjoyed! Remember to check back! We took oodles of pics, over 200, but have'nt gotten them developed yet! Anybody know where I can get a good, inexpensive digi-cam? I love to have my pic taken but this developing is getting $$$ and I really don't want to charge for or sell anything (I like to give it away! hehe)! But maybe I should look into selling worn shoes, hose, socks, etc....to fund a digi-cam ? Sure would make my toes tingle!! hehehe I dunno? Stayed tuned! C-Ya!
