I've met my share of hanson fans - and hanson haters. I've also seen my share of hanson fan pages, and my share of anti-hanson pages. There's a similarity between the two .. fan pages are often obsessed with the looks of Hanson, as are anti hanson pages. Just, in different ways.

But I have to admit that there are some anti-hanson pages.. the better ones.. that are hilarious. If you can loosen up enough to understand that these people are just having a bit of fun, it makes it fun for you, too. A lot of fans take it all too seriously, and really get into anti pages. And it's stupid. I mean, they're just expressing their opinion, the same as I am by making this page. Why should it be any different just because their opinion differs? It shouldn't.

I've found that some hanson fans are very hypocritical. One second, they're telling me how stupid hanson haters are.. basically just because they think different things.. and the next they're telling me I suck because I happen to like some different types of music. Example: Marilyn Manson. It's not like I'm obsessed with him or anything; in fact, I find him mildly scary, but I absolutely love 'Beautiful People'. Is that so wrong?

Here's my two cents: A lot of Hanson fans take it all too seriously. And for god's sake, music is supposed to be something you enjoy listening to, a past-time! You shouldn't need to get so damn serious about it. Just enjoy the music, accept other people's views, and you'll be just fine :)
