WOW!! The concert was AWESOME, FABULOUS, UNBELIEVABLE!! It was the best night of 1999!!! I will never forget it!! This is my 2nd concert, so it was a year & a half that I finally saw them again..major major difference. I was lucky enough to get great pics! I took 4 rolls (1 roll stopped at 21 on accident). Most of the pics came out great, like the ones I've posted. Others were either too blurry or the lights were dancing..I guess I was moving the camera. But I'm glad I have these!) Here goes on how this whole experience started..even back on the ticket day..

Day One: I was back in my old town, before I moved to Kansas City. Of course, the tickets went onsale on Aug. 14th & I moved to KC on the 16th; my family & I were in the middle of some major packing. They were going to be onsale at 10am, so I got up like 45 minutes before. I was planning to start calling in 10 till 10:00..busy busy busy. I've been re-dailing for like 20 minutes!! Then mom got on, while I was getting online for the Ticketmaster.com. I heard that they will crash, but I just tried for the heck of it. It was about 10:30 (moments before the whole show was sold out!!!) when mom finally got into the line!!!! At first, I didn't like the seats, cause I thought they were too far. But after I saw the seating chart, I would be on the long side of the arena & in the middle of the stage!! From then on to the concert, I entered contests for front row, and stuff...And deciding on who to take with me, which both tickets cost $90!! My friend from Texas couldn't come, so mom went!!! Anyway, I'm sure you're dying to know what happened!!

Day Ninety Seven: The big day has finally come!! I only had one class on this day, which was great, so I can get ready!! A couple days before, I was making a banner for the local radio station (KC Mix 93.3)..yeah, I know that Nick had two interviews with them, but I missed them! I'm getting the copies, though!! :) Anyway, we were supposed to show how much we love 93.3, & the winner banners get front row!! Unfortunately, I missed the time they were doing it! Oh well, I still had fun fun fun!

I had to wait for my mom to get home from work at 5:30pm. We then traveled 25-30 min. to the Missouri side. Mix 93.3 was having a BSB day, cause they played all of their singles, which was cool! (They even played WGIGO, that I haven't heard in a LONG time on the radio!) I saw some cars that had BSB written on the windows. Well, here we were, on our way to Kemper, we noticed that we missed the exit for it!! It was kinda my fault..oops! LOL! Well, the sign didn't say Kemper!! My mom has been there before, but it's been awhile. Anyway, we had to stop 2 times to ask for directions & they were confusing!! So, we were lost for 2 hours!! Luckily, we got there on time, like between 7 & 7:15pm. Again, I missed the BSB walking to the arena from the buses. They didn't even check the bags!! That was surprising, but probably was just too much to do with 21,000 fans!!

While mom went to the bathroom, I looked out into the floor and I was like "OMG!" I couldn't believe the stage!! And freaking that I'm actually closer! Then I saw this girl that looks like a dancer, so I had to ask! *L* I was soo right! I asked who she was & all. It was Nefertiti, Fatima's sister!! She looks just like her! Nef was so nice; I told her about me going into Tommy's chatroom & stuff, then I told her good luck for the show. I then decided to get the merchandise, since it was right there. I got $85 worth of stuff, LOL, cause I was getting an extra tourbook & bsb poster for my friend. I also got a tour shirt, keychain & those free bsb sears pic plastic bag! Which is cute! We finally got to our seats & not long after we sat down, a chatter from Tommy's came up to me! It was Davids_Lady_Stacey!! She was planning to find me. She was really cool & we talked while Mandy Moore sang. Mandy is alright, & I didn't really like EYC, they were showing too much of their chests. Anyway, after the opening acts, the stage crew got ready & the screens came on with the Sears BSB commerical! I can't remember how long it took for the Boys to come out, but it was long enough!

I'll just tell ya the highlights that I've remembered. let's see...A.J. did ballerina moves during the The Perfect Fan, he does it at every show. Brian did make funny faces on screen, but he was too quick & I wasn't fast enough to get a pic of him doing them. I just got one of his funny faces. (I didn't even know I got one! It's the one of his hands on his head, like he usually does). Howie was on my side during Quit Playing Games, & threw candy. Also, Brian was on the side right of me and he was swimming like a frog! I just ordered a reprint of it. When you see that blurry pic of brian, it's when he just waved at my section!! Brian was on my side a lot. Towards the beginning of the show & during I Want It That Way, they had us do the whooping, which was fun. And made us sing IWITW. My fave songs live are Spanish Eyes, The Perfect Fan, Brian's long notes towards the end of Don't Want You Back, I think there's more. *L* I also thought Kevin's solo was pretty good and Back To Your Heart. For the last two songs, Brian & Nick were acting like Frick & Frack (playfully hitting each other with their mics), which I have pics of, plus Brian with his basketball! Nick & A.J. got the most screams.

After the show, I went straight to the buses. LOL! I was looking for a black bus that would probably have the band. While I was there, I met some chatters from Tommy's chat. (Like mcclure22, mmaakk, mr. joker, etc..there were about 8-10 regs). Then guess who comes walking?! TOMMY!! :) He was so nice. I went up to give him a hug & he so loved my hair! Like ruffling through it. Kept calling me adorable..awww.. :) I also met Dennis, Louie, Bubba, & Guy! Then I had to go, so I asked Tommy if he would like to get a pic with me. I ran out of film before I went to the buses. So mcclure22 was even nice enough to use her film! I said bye to Tommy & gave a kiss on his cheek. ;) I saw Nef again & she waved. I had so much fun!! The concert definitely was worth my $90 tix & hopefully I'll get to see them during the Spring 2000!! Oh yeah, I never found their hotel :( & found out that the BOYS were on the other side of the arena while I was with tommy!!! :( Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics and they're in the order of the outfits/songs.
