ghost in you
"I'm in the mood for you"

Well, what do I have to say? I’m not a BIG fan of new wave, Psychadelic Furs and stuff, so I wasn’t very familiar with the original song to begin with, I did know it though, and got re-acquainted with the original later. Sad to say, I would have to say that the original is better, as painful as it is for me to admit. The recorded version, the one found on the "Clueless" soundtrack doesn’t really give the original much justice. For some reason, I didn’t really like Adam’s rendition of it here. I found his delivery a bit exaggerated (one of the few extremely rare moments). I do have another boot, from "Carving out their names" where they do a better version. Not radically different, just more subtle and more sedate.

The Crows are a great band, need I say more? But like most covers done by ANY band, they don’t really match up with the originals. This is no exception.

I am not saying your opinion is wrong, but i really love the version on the Clueless soundtrack. I didn't like it at all when i first listened to it, because all it is, is Adam singing, and a guitar and bass. But then, after a while, I realized how much feeling was going into the lyrics. I've heard the original, and I think that Adam did a tremendous job of taking plain lyrics, and turning them into such and emotion song. "she don't fade away"
