It's a Valentine's Day layout. No, really, it is! I had a totally different idea in mind to start out with, but fate intervened. On Jan. 22nd I ran into my ex-crush. Warm fluffly memories came back to me, and I was head over heels in love again. So, this layout is dedicated to that crush of mine. Very cheery, huh? The sexy eyes on the top belong to Ashton Kutcher, and were slightly modified using the Diffuse Glow filter in Photoshop 5.5. What else can I say? Happy Valentine's Day???

++Dedications++
This layout is dedicated to:
Ryan, my crush, as was mentioned above.
Ashton Kutcher, because his birthday is on Feb. 7th, and because his picture was used in the making of this layout.
All my friends who are boyfriendless at the moment.
Andrew Olson, simply because he's so gorgeous.
Philip Kirkorov, because he's such an amazing singer, and because the lyrics featured on this layout are from his song "Go".

BGM~: Marusia -- Na-Na!

*sings along* Hey, koni, koni, hey hey, koni, koni, hey hey...Simple yet nice. These guys can make anything into a piece of art. Can't you tell I love them to pieces?

Ahh...I had such a nice shopping trip today. My dad decided to buy a new matress and dragged me and my mom along. So, we ended up buying an air matress, a load of VCR tapes, a cuuuute shirt for moi (it has a zebra on the front...kawaii!), little socks/booties for all of us (they're so SOFT!), a little shelf-like thing for the trinkets I have accumulated over the years, two art books (Rodin and Rembrandt), a prep book for the AP Calculus exam, and a dictionary. LOL. I like making post-shopping lists. There was also a load of shoes for only $5 a pair, but none of them were in my size (9 1/2 - 10, in case you're wondering). Boo-hoo. They were so cute, too!

I need a pair of sandals for spring. Preferable cute flowery ones, with a medium heel (I can't stand flat shoes, and I already have high-heeled ones). And a blue denim skirt wouldn't hurt, either. Ah, I love clothes so much. Cheap clothes, might I add. Ahhh...

BGM~: my printer printing out 26 pages (it's too loud to be listening to anything else)

I haven't been feeling so well for the last couple of days. I don't mean I have a fever or anything, but it's a weird dizziness-nausea-heart flutter kind of thing. Maybe I haven't been getting enough sleep. Maybe I'm tired after "The Man Who Came to Dinner". Maybe I'm upset about strike. Maybe I'm stressed out about school. Maybe it's my *hint hint wink wink nudge nudge* hopeless crush syndrome kicking in. Ouch. That hurts. I haven't seen Ryan for over a week. Maybe that's why.

BGM~: First Discover's Blues -- Tenchi Muyo!

As previously mentioned, the ASMs and me got everyone on running crew little gifts. I got people stuffed animals, or else notepads. Of course, I had to get Ethan and Kyle something, but I'm not all that good at giving guys gifts. I got Kyle a stuffed penguin (read the story behind it here), and bought Ethan a pack of 10 Pez refills, for lack of any better ideas. Well, hear this out. As I was walking up to the balcony, I noticed Ethan jumping up and down in the booth, waving to me frantically.

Ethan: Look what Santa brought us!
Me: *looks* Is that Pez I see?
Ethan: *starts drooling* Do you realize what this means?
Me: I have a slight idea...
Ethan: We'll have to dramatically increase our Pez intake!
Me: *nod nod* I think I'll support you on that one.
Ethan: What wonderful person gave us this?
Me: *bursts out laughing* I certainly recall paying for it.
Ethan: *bounces around the booth* You've made my Pez dispenser very happy!!!
Me: O_o;;;;; Ok-kay...I'm glad.
Ethan: *picks up the dispenser and stares at it* We need a name for the little fella.
Me: What are you looking at me for? Erm...How 'bout Ethan Jr.? Or Kyle? I'm horrible with names!
Ethan: Nuh-uh, you get first dibs on the name.
Me: I transfer the right to you.
Ethan: He looks like a Frank to me.
Me: Fair enough. Frank it is.
Ethan: Say, are you gonna run lights for any Fine Arts Week performances?
Me: ^_~ Of course I am. *gets suspicious* Why?
Ethan: I'm thinking...We should hide Frank and this stash of Pez somewhere where only we can find it. And then, during FAW...
Both: ...Pez intake increases dramatically!!!

That's my little random blurb. Cesca, hope you're enjoying this conversation!

BGM~: Breeze -- Hayashibara Megumi

Who hasn't posted in the longest time? Come on now, think...

I apologize, really, I do. I've been superbly busy. First, I spent all week practicing for today's piano recital (it went well, to my surprise. My teacher was actually pleased). Then, I spent a lot of time catching up on my math homework and studying for Friday's test *thwaps Mr. Knowles* I also had a brush-up rehearsal on Thursday, and performances w/parties Friday and Saturday. I would've gone online yesterday morning, but I had to go to Samantha's sweet 16 party, then go to Rachael's crew party, and then make my way to the performance. Eek. I've been busy.

It snowed so much in the last two days! They were even thinking about cancelling the final night of "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Thankfully, it all turned out okay, and the performance was the best ever. The ASM's and I handed out gifts, and it was all so much fun...But all good things come to an end, unfortunately. The lovely pink set will be taken down tomorrow. I want to cry. And cry I will. Preferably on a cute actor's shoulder.

Did you wish me a happy birthday yet?
