Welcome to MAX's unofficial Hawai'i home! If you haven't already noticed, this page has gotten a facial...and a much needed one at that! For one, all of the lyrics will be permanently moved to my other site, MAXmasa's J-Pop Lyrics, so that I can conserve precious space for new pictures! Then, in order to keep this page from getting too stale too fast, I won't be doing any of the updates I once offered. I find that my updates wind up getting mighty old, mighty fast--although I will continue to post up new, vital info! Such as the release of the ladies' twelfth single, Love impact, which is out in stores!! And, for those stopping by, everything is down. Sorry, but I want to make this page better, and to do that, I have to re-do the whole darned thing, piece by piece. What a pain! But for the ladies of MAX, it's worth it! Come again soon!
Updates
Discography--My new updated Discography section is open--check it out! I haven't finished scanning in the singles, but I did scan in the jackets for their two movies! I'll finish this page soon--complete with my official MAX memorabilia listings!
Lyrics--My apologies for not getting Love impact and HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU up on my Lyrics page sooner. And since I don't have the time to update that page yet, I've just decided to add it temporarily to this page! Sorry for any inconvenience!
- MAXIMUM GROOVE--Their new album is out in stores, and was a huge hit on the Oricon charts!! Buy it!!
- Love impact--That's right, the ladies' new single was released on March 3rd in Japan! Both Love impact and HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU are both great songs, and I don't doubt that this will be yet another hit single!
- MAX Up Your Life 99--Their spring tour kicked off today (03/06) in Hadano's Cultural Auditorium! As far as I know, every date has been SOLD OUT!! I know because I tried to get tickets at various locations, but couldn't! I wish them the best of luck!
- Greatest Hits album!--That's right! These lovely ladies have had so many hits, that they'll have their own hit collection! I'm not sure of the release date yet, but it's currently slated for April!
- Another concert?!?!--It's final! the dates for MAX's fall concert series are August 16, 18, and 19! Tickets go on sale on April 25, so start planning now! Why? Because these concerts will be held in the Budokan in Tokyo!! That's right, they skipped it last year, but they're back in the place where they filmed their J-Pop Gig Tour '97 video! Who knows, maybe they'll film and release this one, too...
- On a sad note--As you may know, Amuro Namie's mother was killed on March 16 in Okinawa. The ladies of MAX all went to attend the funeral, and I'm sure that they are grieving over the loss. My deepest sympathies.If you'd like more information on this matter, please e-mail me.
- Reina Love!!--New addition coming soon to Flash! MAX! Still on its way!
As always, this page is under construction, and hopefully, my galleries will be running at full capacity within a couple of weeks, but until then, bear with me! Also, I may be moving to a site that more suits my needs--mainly one that handles cgi-scripting! And with more space--my galleries should be huge, but they're not... So keep coming back, and there'll be more soon! Mahalo!
