It has been a long time since Sammi had filmed a TVB series. "Pet Love Affair" began filming a few days ago. Sammi replied: "I haven't been late, I even arrived to work earlier than Jessica." Sammi has known Jessica since Jessica was dating Dicky Cheung Wai Kin; Sammi and Jessica know each other pretty well.

Sammi told the reporter she and Jessica understand each other. Sammi asked Jessica does she mind if Sammi was late for ten minutes? Jessica replied ten minutes late is no problem. Sammi said she won't let the media makes news of her and Jessica out of any "late rumors."

Sammi admitted that she admires Jessica's professionalism. Sammi laughed and said she is afraid to be late because of Jessica. Sammi said having Jessica around helps keep her puntual.

Jessica said she gained nine pounds during the filming of the travel special in Germany. She said she gained a whole new dress size. She laughed and said all her weight gain appears on her arms and tummy. People were teasing her about having "bat" arms (flabby arms). She even has to apply special contour on her makeup to hide her weight gain.

Jessica said the reason she gained weight is because of lack of activity. Every time the film crew had to travel anywhere, it took them two hours by train. So they would eat a big meal and then sit on the train for two hours. That's how she gained the weight.

Jessica said she has maintained her weight around 108 lbs in the past few years. Even TVB cautioned her to lose weight now. On the contrary, her boyfriend wants her to keep her current weight.

Jessica laughed and said her boyfriend likes some "meat" on his woman. A little chubby is fine with him. Unfortunately she is in show business and she has to keep her weight down. She won't fullfill her boyfriend's desire and sacrifice the viewers, unless she leaves show business.

Another actress who has also gained weight from visiting Germany is Yuen Choi Wan. She "blimped" up too. Jessica joked if she wants to avoid people's focusing attention on her weight gain, she would walk next to Yuen Choi Wan.
I personally think that Jessica was too skinny before (she was skinny like a stick). I don't think she looks anywhere near chubby in the photo. It must be that show business mentality that actresses has to be really skinny. I think she looks great now.
