Thud! Thud! The ominous footsteps of the approaching behemoth. General Yasufumi Hayashi gazed across the men and machines at his command. Everything seemed to be in order. Suddenly, a sound that was that was well known throughout the land, instantly ripped away the morale of the troops. Godzilla.
“All units open fire!” Abruptly, the sky was filled with cannon shells, missiles, maser beams, and aircraft. General Hayashi watched in disbelief as everything they sent at the creature detonated harmlessly. The radio was filled with battle communications, mostly, reports of comrades being destroyed. It him a while to notice that footsteps had gotten considerably louder since when they first appeared. The machinery of the command post began to quiver and shake. Within the next 30 seconds, there would be no command post...

“No. No one is going to steal your goods, now get out of here, you want to be killed?” Captain Toshikazu Shimomura hated this evacuation stuff. There were always difficult people like this store owner. He looked around and saw that his troopers had done a pretty good job of clearing away the people. When that monster came through here there wouldn’t be anyone but UNGCC troops, armed to the teeth! Then, he spotted five teenage girls with what looked like two cats. Sighing, he started to sprint over towards them.
“Who are these guys?”, asked Serena. She and the other four girls had managed to avoid being seen so far.
“How should I know?”, someone said, “They’re some kind of military unit that’s for sure. I saw some helicopters a while back that were painted blue and white. I couldn’t read the seal but it looked like a United Nations emblem.”
“You’re right...look!” They all looked to see a truck go by with the UN logo on it. But there was something strange about it, and then they realized.
“Hey! It had a silhouette of the monster Godzilla where the continents should have been!”shouted Serena.
“Shut up meatball-head!”, snarled Raye, “You want them to find...”
“All right! What do you girls think you’re doing! Where are your parents!?” They all turned around to se a man in a uniform, about thirty, staring at them intently.
“Uh...We...got lost!”, said Serena.
The man narrowed his gaze on to the blond girl. “You should already be on a transport out of here! Now are you going to go with the other people, or do I have to call a chopper to come and take you out of here?!?”
“Heh Heh, We’ll go.” Captain Shimomura watched them run of toward the row of transports, which waited for the last few evacuees. He didn’t bother to make sure they boarded...
“Okay. All of you transform!”, said Luna, once they had ran past the transports to hide behind a building. They all complied and within moments the Five Sailor Senshi were ready for action.
“Now we’re going to have to find out what’s going on.”, said Luna. Mercury recognized her cue and pulled out her computer.
“That monster’s brain wave patterns are being blocked by something else, I’ll have a lock in a few seconds...there. There’s some kind of mind control being implemented.” Mercury was still looking at data, when they heard a noise.
“Hah! I thought I heard voices! Who do you think you are?” It was that uniformed man again. He had a pistol drawn, as if he were expecting trouble.
“You don’t understand, we’re the Sailor Senshi.”, offered Mars. The man looked dubiously at them. His left eyebrow went up.
“Who did you say you were? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any Sailor Senshi.” He obviously expected an answer.
“Well, it’s hard to explain really...Hey! Don’t you read the newspaper?”, said Jupiter.
“Of course, and I know fully well who the Sailor Senshi are. But, what are you doing here? Do you plan to fight off that monster?”
“Not necessarily, but we may know how to stop it.”, said Mercury.
“And how do you plan to do that?”
“Take us to your headquarters and we’ll tell you.” The other Sailors uttered a loud “What?!?” at this. Mercury simply turned toward them and whispered something. The others quieted down.
“Well, normally that would not be my first choice, but under the circumstances...”
Within the next half hour the Sailor Senshi were on their way toward G-Force HQ in a small helicopter. It was then that Captain Shimomura noticed the cats. “Hey! You’re those five girls I told to evacuate! I recognize the cats but for some reason I didn’t recognize you.”All of them began talking at once, pleading with him to preserve their identities. It took quite a bit of reassuring before they were all satisfied. By this time they had reached their destination. Within moments, the five Senshi and Captain Shimomura were at the Captain’s office.
“All right. I’m going to set us up a meeting with General Aso immediately. In the meantime, make yourselves comfortable.”
“Okay”, they all said in unison.
Sailor Jupiter spoke up. “Wow. You know what? He looks just like my own boyfriend...”

“So Jadeite, my old friend, you’re on your way down to the planet?”
“Yes, Malachite, ‘old friend’. I don’t see why you’re so negative towards my plan. It’s almost as if you were jealous...”
“Silence fool! I opposed the thought of reawakening you. It was only that scum Prince Darien who convinced Queen Beryl to release you. I imagine he used some foul human logic to do that. Oh and I couldn’t help but notice you slipping into Nephrite’s old rooms. May I ask what you were doing?”
“Getting this”, Jadeite raised a jagged shard of crystal to eye level, “it’s an emergency precaution. With this I’ll be able to...terminate the project should anything go wrong, but of course that won’t happen.”
“I also noticed you’re taking Beryl’s Royal Guard with you,”, Malachite motioned to the three shadowy figures near the back of the room, “just another precautionary measure?”
“Of course.” With that Jadeite and the three youma faded away.
