Ever since I first saw Slayers in the cramped confines of a Breezewood, PA hotel room 2 years ago, I fell in love with the series. It was the first anime I ever saw that had not been butchered by some fat guy sitting in a censorship office somewhere. Slayers has something for everyone in it: comedy, drama, high quality animation, an exellent soundtrack, and fully developed characters, bucking the annoying trend I see sometimes in anime to use one dimensional stock characters.
But anywhoo, you don't wanna listen to me pontificate, you came here to see pictures! This gallery contains screen captures from the original Slayers series, and also from the Slayers: Next series. Personally, I think that the animation for the Next episodes is better (the inks are of way better quality) but all of the animation is a cut above anything you'll see on T.V. these days, i.e. Digimon *gags*. As with all my gallerys, the higher the gallery number, the newer the pics. Enjoy! ^_^
