Otoi Nobuhiko

He's Signal's 'little brother'. Signal was created to be his big brother, and Nobuhiko was allowed to help program Signal's personality. He's basically a good kid who's fiercly loyal to Signal.

Sain Chris

She's a self proclaimed bishoujo genius. She makes herself out to be Professor Otoi's assistant, but in reality, he won't even let her in the lab alone. The reason is apparent when she gets into the lab alone and builds a killer robot! A friend translated that she really doesn't like robots...

Elara

She's a very strong robot, who was built to serve tea. However, her owner didn't let her go to get regular 'check ups', so some of her programming is a bit messed up. She likes to clean and cook, but unfortunately, people get sick after eating her cooking.

Otoi Shinnosuke

He's the (what I consider) slightly demented head of the Otoi family. He created Signal by himself because Nobuhiko wished for an older brother.

Otoi Masanobu

Masanobu is the son of Shinnosuke. He's also Nobuhiko's rather ineffectual father. He engineers robots as well, and used to work with his father. Masanobu and Shinnosuke created Pulse together, using Masanobu's face for Pulse's looks. They used the same face with Signal. Masanobu thinks of robots as tools, and not feeling beings.

Otoi Minoru

She's Nobuhiko's mother. Very young and childlike, seems to agree with everything her husband says. However she doesn't seem to agree with him on the subject of robots. She also works on creating robots.

These are little robot police that wander around and get into trouble. They seem to serve no purpose except to sweep...

Flag

Flag is the little robot... bird-like thing that follows Pulse around. He sees for Pulse, as Pulse's eyes are so bad.

the cop

This is the police chief of the area. He doesn't seem to like robots, and tries to arrest Signal in the OAVs. he's always grumbling at the little cops
