About myself
No.. I’m kidding well, let’s begin I’m now twenty-something, single, student of Sociology, my like for the anime and manga was with me for a long time ago (so long that I don’t realize that many of the series I liked when I was a child were Japanese :p), however was about 1994 when I discovered the bast world of anime and manga properly.
These days I was reading (a great defect and good attribute that I had since childhood) American (north American) comics, I was a big fan of Spiderman, Batman, X-men and other titles less knowed. But I came to a problem with myself, ´cause the histories become to repeat too much i.e. A great villain attacks Superman and defeats Superman get´s a lot of hits and all these stuff and then strikes back and defeat, even when I enjoy with the human side of Spiderman (you know all the dilemmas that he had about powers and Peter attempting to do a normal life), and Batman (when I can, I still read), I realize one thing that bugs me they where telling the history of someone that exist before me, and will exist without me!, when the Japanese comics (well not with all) the histories are focused in the characters and his relations with others, more than in the superpowers, in fact I have read great histories about people that had no special powers at all, other thing that called my attention strongly is that in Japan often exist, in opposition to the American way, a final, that is not(always) a happy end it will be called crude, but even when the comic is an escape to our frustrations, there are ways to finish them in a form that is more true (realistic).
Continuing with the "exist before..." the Japanese stories even when are large (sometimes very large) they had an END that is something that I has not see in American comics.
The first anime I watch was Bubble gum crisis ´cause of I was see a preview of the OVAS in 1988 in a Video Games Magazine and the shots caught all my attention, so when I see the videos in a store , was the first thing I buy, after that in that time the magazines where more cheaper than now, so now that I was watching Japanese anime, why no read too?, so I was to the comics shop and see around, I found something called "Ranma" an advanced number (in fact number 2 part 2) and I don’t understand anything in there "girls fighting in a ring with flowers and other stuff", what’s that?, I want to understand correctly this, thanks to good luck I found the graphic novel, that compiles all part one. And these was my perdition I fall for the histories of Rumiko Takahashi.
Then when I was beginner in this, someone told me Oh my goddess! is an interesting series why you don’t watch, well I have to tell, I’m very weak for the Shojo and I get caught with Kosuke Fujishima´s Work, and to put it worse with Katsura´s Video Girl Ai too so these are the authors I follow more than others.
So this me, I have then great projects, like interchange anime (it become to expensive), write a fanzine (but I was too slow with this and other are doing that well), so when a friend told me "we are forming a club for the interchange of ideas, drawing, videos, anything". Well I’m become happy of be part of this, like I write in other part in the page in the beginning we where three or four in a restaurant table.
Ok let’s say who am I
And finally like in almost anywere in this page here is my E-Mail
