The story continues...

' ... No... It does matter... It's ... It's about your lifelong happiness...' Painfully said Kaika. It was the time his heart ached so much. 'It doesn't matter if you don't love me or you can't be my wife. The most important thing is that you could marry someone who you love...'
'... To me, happiness is a luxury that I'm too poor to get hold of.' Said Wei Sheung, trying to be cold though she was  so touched by Kaika's words. 'Here, this is for you.' She gave Kaika an elegant flute. ' My mother was an excellent flute musician before her death. I can still remember how she praised me when I learnt playing it well ...it was long long time ago... I used to forget all these after all these years... It's your music reminded me about the good old days. I won't use this flute now. Therefore, I would likfe to give it to you or else this good flute would be wasted... Take a good rest. I have to go now.' She put down the flute beside Kaika and going to leave.
'Wei Sheung...' This calling from Kaika stopped Wei Sheung's steps. ' Please remember, happiness  will always be with you only if you seek for it.'
'Thanks...for your advice.' Said Wei Sheung and she left.
The news of Wei Sheung's marriage quickly spread all over this small village. Everyone were excited and happy for her because she could find a rich husband thus a great fortune. It was said that her future husband was a young and successful mechant from Konan accompanying his father. Though he had never met Wei Sheung before, he adored her for her virtues after hearing about her story. And most importantly, his wife in Konan could't bear him a son and he needed a companion when he was in Sairo.
Kaika had gradually recovered from his injury after two weeks. Winter was coming. Seeding would not be begun before the coming of Spring so Kaika had nothing to do but fluting under a tree all day long, hoping his melody can send some happiness to Wei Sheung.
Chi Fan was very worrying about Kaika. He was very calm, even when people talking about Wei Sheung. He did not blame her for ruining his marriage plan. He treated everyone well as usual. He only ate less than before. However, she could sense his pain deep in his heart. The melody he played was  no longer lively as before. He was more and more quiet. Once she unintendedly saw a few drops of tears run out of his eyes.
Meanwhile, Kaika was sitting under a tree again, the tree that he first played his flute beore Wei Sheung. Nearby, there was a stream. Listening to the sound of the water flowing by, he suddenly had a vision. He saw himself was about to fall into a flooding river, getting hold of his flute which was caught by a girl in the Eastern clothes that he could't remember who she was. He couldn't hear what she said to him but the roaring sound of the river. He thought she was saying,'Bathe in the holy water and forget everything... forget the past, forget your beloved ones, forget Wei Sheung...' And he fall into the river by his hand letting go of his flute. Then, he had the feeling of being drown.
 'Kaika!'
 'Amiboshi...'
 'Kaika!'
 'Kaika!'
Who?' Shouted Kaika. He saw Chi Fan kneeling in front of him. He was back into the reality again.
'Kaika, I'm Chi Fan. Are you OK?' said Chi Fan, very concerned about him.
'I'm sorry... I'm a bit... overacted.' Said Kaika.
'No, you are underacted. I know and I understand that there are things making you very upset and yet you just bearing all those pain, not letting anyone to share it with you, not even your parents...and me. No one would blame you if you act more violent on this matter. ' Said Chi Fan, who now was sitting besides him.'
' No, I'm not... I just haven't been fully recover from my injury and I'm a bit tired... Therefore, I...'
'Don't make any excuses for yourself when you are with me. If you wnat to see her, then go immediately. Wei Sheung will be married in two weeks time.' Replied Chi Fan, before Kaika finishing  his sentence.
'Both of us will not be happy if I go to see her now. The fact can't be changed and we have to face the reality...'
