Chapter 1 : Introduction To The Family Members

Sakuragi was hurrying home from the market after he had finished helping his mother buying groceries when he bumped to Sendoh on the road. After a loud "bang" Sakuragi dropped all his things. Upon seeing this and feeling partially guilty, Sendoh helped him up. He even offered to help Sakuragi to carry those bags of groceries home.

As Sakuragi's mother (Shoko) opened the for him, she was shocked upon seeing Sendoh! She became stiffened as Sendoh kinda reminded her of someone,... someone she knew a long time ago.

"*Okasan?! Don't Just stand there. Why? Shocked to see a handsome boy?" Sakuragi asked. However, Shoko remained motionless. " He's from Ryonan High. The basketball captain there - Akira Sendoh!"

Slowly, Shoko moved closer to Sendoh. Taking a closer look at him with eyes of such gentleness. Her hands touched Sendoh's cheeks and he turned red instantly. A girls' touch always make him blushes.(wonder if he reacted the same way if its Rukawa?)

" Okasan?! Don't scared the poor Sendoh like that." said Sakuragi.

" Oh! *Gomenasai.I'm so sorry. Excuse me." said Shoko, as she quickly retreated. " Have you eaten anything yet?" Before Sendoh could reply, she said again," I'll make some noodles for you, just wait a minute." And she disappeared into the kitchen.

" Auntie, no need...." Sendoh's voice faded away...

" Okasan! Tea will do." Shouted Sakuragi from the spot which he had been standing quietly for quite some time. Then Shoko, went back into the kitchen again to make some tea and brought it out.

In the living room, the 3 of them went to a series of talks and chats. For Sendoh, he felt like a criminal being questioned by Shoko. As for Sakuragi, he felt like gooseberry between a couple. (funny feeling ain't it?)

After about half an hour, Sendoh initiates that he gotta go. And Shoko's bright, sunny face suddenly turned glum. After he left, Sakuragi became a police, questioning his mother why is she treating Sendoh better than her own son... ...

*Okasan in Japanese means mother.
* Gomenasai means I'm sorry.
