Saturday, 12 September 1998 Southern Exposure Runker Room USA Opens PORTLAND, Oregon The Runker Room, home page of Tadaaki Hiruki has followed its creator and maintainer south of the border to the City of Roses, Portland OR, after a summer in Victoria BC. Portland at the time of this posting is largely an unknown to this writer and likely many of the visitors to this website. With a population of 503,000 (metro area 1.7 million) and readily accessible natural surroundings, there is potential for diverse and interesting experiences both within the city limits and the environs. ODs will be related as they occur. Frequent updates can be expected on the page about Medical Informatics, as I learn more about this new (to me), rapidly evolving field.
