Saiyuki is the manga written by Minekura Kazuya sensei. Its characters and storyline are adapted from the Chinese tale. The first time I saw the manga cover of vol.1 it caught my eyes so much that I couldn’t hold back the jerk to get it off the shelf and buy it. I had no clue that it was very popular in Japan(since I live in Thailand, duh ^^;;) but I wasn’t surprised because the artwork and the adaptation of the story is supremely SUGOI!!! All characters are very attractive and charismatic and I love the way Minekura sensei make all their personalities very contrast with each other. So far I don’t see anybody who doesn’t like it once they got into it.(and almost all of them got addicted to it badly, must I add ^_~) So give it a try for those who aren’t familiar with this story, and for those already the die-hard Saiyuki disciples, I hope you’ll find my site a little entertaining and useful! ^o^
