Annual School Concert
Our annual school concert was held on 6th July, 1999 at our school hall. The concert started off at 7:30, and the hall was full of people. After the performances of the Chin. Orchestra, Intermediate and Senior Choir, Band, Junior Choir and String Orchestra, here came the highlights of the night-- the Vocal Solo performance from Dora Si who has the voice of an angel as well as the musical, titled"Making the Impossible Possible".
I took part in the Intermediate and Senior Performance which performed three songs from "CATS", the songs were great, esp after adding the marvellous drumset. Thanx for all the people who was involved. Last but not least, UNENDING thanks to Miss J. Yu for all she has done.
Debate Camp
I had a wonderful debate camp on the 6th-8th Apr... that was a joint school camp with HYS+SJC+QC+SMCC. I met a lot of friends there and all of them are very nice... Thanx all of them fore giving me such a great Easter holiday!

The Inter-School Athletics Championships Division One Finals was held on 12th March, 1999. The results are as follows:
Girls A grade: 1st-- DGS, 2nd-- GHS, 3rd--HYS
Girls B grade: 1st-- HYS, 2nd-- GHS, 3rd--MCS
Girls C grade: 1st-- DGS, 2nd-- MCS, 3rd-- GHS
Girls Overall: 1st-- GHS, 2nd-- DGS, 3rd--HYS

Music Festival, Again
Horray!!! Our intermediate choir got 1st in the class of singing in Chinese!!! Congratulations to all the members and you girls did a great job! Keep it up, and we gonna be the champ in the finals!!!!
On the other hand, our junior choir got 2nd in the class of singing in Chinese. This year, we can see that our choirs have improved, we gonna be better in the next year!!

Music Festival 1999
This is a fruitful year for our Senior Choir...
In the class of singing in English, we had our set piece, Hippity Hoppity, sung very well, however, there was some flat notes in our won choice Autumn Leaves... Finally we got a 4th of 88 marks...We were a little disappointed of this, but we all knew we have tried our best.( We also know that the adjudicator was a little strange on choose the best three classes..hahaha)
In the class of singing in Chinese, there was just our sch and Good Hope School competiting (Po Tun School did not come),
we were so incredible that we all knew we really really did our best of the best...... Although GHS won finally, everyone in the hall knew that we were equally good or our school was even better...we scored 94 marks whike GHS scored 96, the comments from the adjudicators were all postitive ones. We all knew that we did not lose, we really didn't, and I'll never forget this day.
Drama Festival Again (Mar)
Good news!!! Our great production was selected to be one of the final entries! We also captured three prizes in this school performance pharse---
Best Director-- Tracy Kwan (L6Sc)
Best Actress-- Bonnie Tam (L6A)
Best Script-- Faye Dorcas Yung (L6A)

Drama Festival 1999 (Feb)
This year, the title of our play is "The Waiting Room", written by Faye Dorcas Yung of L6A. The story is about a lawyer, Sean Cage, who was killed by the men of Cadbury Fish.
He represented Fish, the guilty, in the trial because of earning money to heal his wife's disease. It was too late to repent when he realized he shouldn't fight against justice and conscience...
My role was Old Mrs. Kidman, who is a slightly crazy old woman that knows a lot about the waiting room..
Although we were practising under a cruel schedule, but I enjoyed every moment with the actresses and backstage people. Our performance was MARVELLOUS! Here I would like to thanx:
Dorcas (Script Writer)- for writing such an amazing script.
Tracy(Director)- Sorry that we always made u angry..
Katherine and Helsa(SMs)- for being reponsible stage managers.
Bonnie(Sean Cage)- You are a great "headline guy"!
Josphine(Jessy)- You are so tall....!

Miffi (Secretary)- First time to see u wearing a dress! haha
