GizmosBugs Episodes Series 3

Series 1 - Series 2 - Series 3

Blaze of Glory
Ed is injured in a motorcycle accident, Ros is now mega rich thanks to her selling her inventions, and Beckett has lost everything when his last girlfriend rings up some big debts (Not the jeep tho'). The team come up against a excessive artist, Kitty McHaig (Lesley Ash of the British version of Man Behaving Badly) who is plotting to kill her father using some warfare dumps. Beckett tries to get some information from The Bureau Of Weapons, but is stopped by Secretary/Martial Artist Alex, and is told by the boss, Jan, that she'll ensure he spends time in prison to pay for trespassing, unless he joins the Bureau (The Bureau of Weapons 2). Ed is injured and put in hospital after another one of Kitty's Explosions, and Beckett tells Ros that Jan's deal wasn't just for him to join the bureau, it was for the whole of the Gizmos team...

The Revenge Effect
Kitty McHaig plots the downfall of the Bureau team (the ex-Gizmos team), and Ros isn't too sure about her new Job and Boss, Jan. One of Kitty's employers writes a secret code on the back of Ed's cast, and he is taken hostage (sans cast) by Kitty as she attempts to gain access to her funds. Ros gets a new car from Channing (her PR type agent).

The Price of Peace
A device known as the 'Engine Killer' which does exactly what the names implies is stolen, at the same time as internationally known peace-maker Van Stratton and his bodyguard, Beckett, are kidnapped. The Kidnappers tell Beckett to give them the control codes for Project Darkling, a weapons system, or they'll kill Van Stratton.

Hollow Man
The design for a new £100 note is stolen by thieves, who need a unique machine to inlay a holographic design to make the notes true forgeries. Ros investigates the holographic machine and it's creator, and finds herself falling in love with him (she's also in a relationship with Channing). Alex and Ed try to track down the thieves, and Ed tries to form a relationship with her.

Nuclear Family
A leader of one of the Soviet Union states is brought to England (or wherever Bugs is set, since I don't really think they ever made it clear, except for the road signs, A6 etc :) ) for a operation to save his life. While he waits, he is given medication to take to maintain his life, and this is destroyed, putting his life, and also the lives of his family in danger. Beckett and the man's wife are held hostage together, and he admits to her he has feelings for Ros, whose arrival may kill them both...

Fugitive
Ros is arrested by an organisation for aiding a criminal, and interrogated for a crime she didn't commit. The other members of the team, including Jan, try to wade through the evidence to discover who really did it and prove Ros innocent, while Ros attempts escape and tries to prove herself innocent from the outside.

Happily Ever After?
A prominent minister's daughter is kidnapped by a apparent Green Group on the Eve of not only her wedding day, but the day a new system for the National Water Grid is implemented. In trying to find her, Ros is shot (grazed, but out of action). Ed finds the daughter, but is also kidnapped - and they are both held in one of the water pipes, just as a bomb is about to destroy the new system and water about to drown them... while Beckett and Alex search for the kidnappers, and discover that the Green Group image may only be a cover for something else, while trying to maintain the image that they don't need Ros. Meanwhile, Channing tells Ros that a position is available for her in Beverly Hills, and she considers whether to leave Beckett and the team, and take it...

Buried Treasure
An old girlfriend of Ed's, Sasha, asks for a Helicopter, for an 'Art Project', and also makes moves on him, making Alex jealous. Meanwhile, a Hacker known as Athena is releasing criminals from prison early, and the team track one such criminal down, and accidentally cause his death. Beckett takes his place (wired), and they find out that Athena, not only is Ed's ex, but is planning to blow one of the governments Art safehouses, using the specialist skills of the convicts. Ros talks Beckett through making a remote bomb detonator, and he tells her he has feelings for her, just as the battery dies. Ed joins Athena/Sasha's plot to fly the helicopter, and Athena tests the detonator on the building she housed her tools in, while Beckett is inside. Ros and Alex turn up to find Beckett buried alive, and Ros goes after Athena...

Identity Crisis
The team are called into work early and find that their Jan has been replaced with another Jan, whose tells them to get on another case and ignore Jan's disappearance. However, the team aren't easily convinced, and try to track her down, finding out that Jan's apartment was raided, and someone was looking for something there. Jan manages to escape, and runs to Beckett's houseboat (cool!), where they find themselves on the run together...

Renegades
Roland Blatty, ex-chief of the first Bureau of Weapons, who was in a coma after being infected with Cyberax, wakes up, along with 2 other members of the old team. The Bugs team find out that they are effecting the resurrection of Cyberax, and that it wasn't destroyed before (A Cage for Satan, Series 2) and is now stored on 4 disks. The infected members prove that they will lay down their own lives for Cyberax and the disks, until only one remains, and Blatty is alone. Blatty knows that the New Bureau know where the final disk is, and once he has it he will upload it onto the Internet where it will continue evolving and taking over more computers and human hosts. He kidnaps Beckett and offers Ros an ultimatum... give him the final disk or Beckett dies. She goes along with his plan, fearing to lose Beckett, but is stopped when Jan tells her that Beckett wouldn't thank her for the trade...

"You risk your own lives without thinking... but you won't risk each other." Blatty.
