What is Get Smart?

Get Smart is a TV show that ran from 1965-1970. It was a comedy about a spy who worked for top-secret government organization, so top-secret that even the CIA didn't know about them. This spy, Maxwell Smart aka Agent 86 normally gets his orders from the Chief of CONTROL and normally works with another agent, Agent 99. CONTROL are the "good guys" and they are normally fighting against KAOS.

So where does the show take place?

It takes place in Washington DC, but no, not in the White House.

Who's Agent 99?Why do you keep leaving out her real name?

Agent 99 is initially Max's partner, and she is a major part of the story because she's the one that makes sure Max isn't doing anything dumb (although even 99 can't always prevent it). On the show, Agent 99 never revealed her real name. In one episode "99 Loses CONTROL", Agent 99 says her real name is Susan Hilton, but later claims that the name was just a fake.

How many different introductions did the show have?

The show had 4 different introductions, if you include the pilot as a different introduction.

How about the cars? Which cars did they use?

You want the answer so check this FAQ.

Did 99 and Max ever get married?

Yes, they got married, and had twins. The names of the twins were never revealed, but in the Fox's Get Smart, one was named Zach, while no reference to the other twin was made.

What ever happened to the show after it got cancelled?

Well, the actors just went their different ways. In 1980, however, a movie was released by the name of "The Nude Bomb", then in 1989 another movie was released by the name of "Get Smart Again" and finally Get Smart was brought back on to Fox in 1995 but got cancelled shortly after.

Where can I get the episodes on tape?

You can't, Repulic Entertainment doesn't have any plans to have them out on tape yet.

Then how am I supposed to watch the show?

Well, you should check your local TV listings. I have noticed that they bring back Get Smart on Nick at Nite every now and then, but last I checked they weren't show them.
