Assignment Two

The same rules and guidelines for Assignment One apply to the next few assignments. This assignment may be somewhat different, as the answers are not exactly handed to you. You must use your judgement and your common sense to get yourself out of situations which are potentially dangerous for Section One and yourself. Good Luck.

OBJECTIVE:
Track down the terrorist organization known as "Black Death"

MISSION PROFILE:
You and Michael/Nikita (who will supervise you during the mission) will be posing as another terrorist organization which has come up with a new virus. You will be "auctioning" this virus to the highest bidder. Just a tablespoon of this virus can eliminate all of Europe within an hour. In the course of this mission, you will be led through many different cities in many countries. You now set out to meet with the "representative" from "Black Death."

You arrive in Nyíregyháza, Hungary and check into a hotel. Michael tells you that you do not neccesarily need to stay in the top hotel. A three star hotel will do. He tells you that the hotel is located at Csaló köz 2.

After you are fairly settled in, you recieve a message over the telephone. The wires cause some problems with the transmission. You hear a voice tell you to meet at a restaurant but you cannot catch the name. All you can get is the last part of the telephone number. It is ...0-916

You arrive at the restaurant and sit down waiting for your bidder. After two hours, he has not arrived yet. Finally a waiter approaches your table and hands you a message. It is Black Death. The Representative has telephoned to say that he refuses to meet in this city to discuss your "business" deal. He wants you to go to the Hungarian city Orosháza. A quick look at the map (above)tells you that this city is approximately in the middle and towards the southern area of Hungary.

You arrive in Orosháza and you check into a hotel. After looking at the list of accomodations, you decide to choose a quiet place to stay. You choose a Pansion instead of a hotel. This lodging only holds at maximum capacity, nine (9) guests.

Once fairly comfortable, Madeline calls you and lets you know that the Representative has chosen to meet with you at the local Art Gallery.

Madeline also tells you that he wishes to meet you by the above painting. After arriving at the art gallery you pay your 50,-Ft admission fee and head for your meeting point.

You reach the painting and browse around for awhile, but it becomes clear that the Representative has once again decided not to show. Suddenly you notice three men wearing black approaching your end of the gallery. They appear to be hostiles. One of them reaches into the lapel of his coat and you catch the glimpse of a shoulder holster. Immediately your Section training kicks in. You slowly retreat towards the exit and as soon as you are clear of the building you break into a run for your life. You know that they are behind you and you do not want to lead them to your lodging. As you run, you make a phone call to Michael back at the pansion. You tell Michael that you are being pursued by three hostiles and that you need back up. You inform him of where you will be hiding. What do you choose to do next?

1.) You notice that the hostiles are no longer behind you. You stop and turn back. You find yourself in front of what seems to be an abandoned warehouse. You decide that this is a good place to conceal yourself until back up arrives.

2.) You decide to hide in a low alley. You believe that no one will think of searching for you here.

3.) You decide to try and keep yourself in as crowded an area as possible. You walk right into the closest bar.
