Swamp Thing has a newsgroup, a mailing list, a fan club, a fanfic archive, and a bunch of sites. So what the heck is it missing?

A drinking game. That's right, my friends. A drinking game. (This is not to say that said drinking game can't be played with a non-alcoholic beverage for those of us who don't like liquor, such as myself... the results of caffeine can be just as scary. ;))

ANYWAY -- anyone want to try creating this thing with me? I don't wanna do it alone!

THE SWAMP THING DRINKING GAME

Take a drink every time:

- Swampy says: "Arcane..."

- Will shows up in his Philadelphia Flyers shirt

- Will plays guitar

- Arcane talks to Tatania in her glass case

- Arcane rides a motorcycle

- Jim delivers a line in a non-wooden fashion (wait--you'll get dehydrated if you do that!)

- A new species of swamp flower appears

- Arcane and/or Graham do something to support the subtext

Take two drinks every time:

- Will takes off his shirt

- Arcane takes off his shirt

- Alec brings someone back to life

- Alec becomes human (in whole, in part, or in his own imagination)

Take ONE drink:

- whenever Arcane screams for Graham

- whenever Swampy spouts his philosophical b.s.

- whenever Swampy calls for Will

- whenever Will calls for Swampy

- Whenever Will says something stupid, or misses the point of something.

- Whenever someone arrives in town looking for revenge on Arcane.

- Whenever Arcane calls himself a genius (brilliance, intellect etc. WILL be accepted as well)

- Whenever Tressa screams

- Whenever Abigail reads someone's mind

- Whenever Alec displays a sense of humour (plant or human form)

- Whenever Arcane insults Graham.

- Whenever we see the stock shot of the storm blowing through the swamp.

- Arcane wears his shades (even at night)

- When ever Will looks confused (we will be perpetually drunk)

- Whenver Swampy says "the swamp talks to me".

- Whenever we see the same stock footage of the Swamp House

(For those of us who have been fortunate enough to go to Universal studios) - Whenever we see Finnigan's Bar and it suddenly turns into "Skillets"
[they are the same place with two entrances and each entrance has a different name and i've seen them screw it up several times - thats good for a DOUBLE! -SwampLady]

- Whenever Will says "ahhhhh" before he askes a stupid question.

- When Arcane says "Bloody hell".
- Take 2 drinks if someone other than Arcane says "bloody".

- if Arcane says a curseword substitute.

- When one of Arcane's girlfriends die.

- If Stella says a curseword substitute.

- If Graham says a curseword subsitute.
- Take 2 drinks if Arcane says a curseword substitute.

- If MLC's wig is wilting.

- If Woodrue is mentioned.

- If Linda is mentioned.

- If Arcane's hair is slicked back/short/flat.

- If Arcane is wearing a tux.

- If Graham is wearing a tux.

[And if you see Swampy wearing a tux, you've lost the game already! :) -Fran]

- If Will is wearing a shirt that actually has sleeves on it.
- Take two if Will is rolling on those barrels.

- If Arcane slaps anyone.
- Take two if Graham slaps anyone.

- Take 3 drinks if you have the anti-drugs commercial.
[And then pass round the video copies of it... pretty please!!! :) -Fran]

Take a drink:

- If Tressa's in her undies.

- If Graham takes his shirt off, it's time for you to stop drinking.

- If Arcane pats someone's chest.

- If Sheriff Andrews is eating a donut

- Whenever a bad guy gets eaten by a gator

- Whenever Ann and Alec gaze at each other lovingly

- Whenever Arcane strides into the elevator, in a bad mood.

- If Arcane gives one of his oily, shark's smiles.

- If Arcane grovels for something

Take another drink if:

-Graham can get through a complete sentence around Arcane without stuttering or stopping or without making some kind of nervous gesture.

-Arcane DOESN'T get insulted or beaten up on;)

-Graham dosen't show signs of complete loyalty and devotion to the good Doctor.

- Someone insults Arcane's hair

- Jim does something brainless (oops, never mind, that'd put us all in the ER with alcohol poisoning )

- The mutants turn on Arcane

Empty glass when:
- Graham declares his love for Arcane

- Arcane hugs Graham

- Graham shows romantic interest in someone other than Arcane

[We could make this really interesting... each play picks a charactor and only the rules for that charactor apply for him. For instance only the Swampy player has to take a drink when Swamp Thing makes ione of his stupid philospical mumblings. -Steve]
