Well, since there's now more than one, I decided to waste some additional
bandwith
and create a separate section for Fanfic Challenges.
Currently, we have several ongoing challenges.
The First
The first challenge is to write a continuation of Seeing
The Light or Letting Go by Serendipity.
Thus far, two worthy authors have answered these challenges.
Daisy with her incredible story It's Not Too Late
And Tracy with her exquisite fanfic Whatever
It Takes
The Second
The second challenge is a bit more complicated.
It stems from a random post I made
to the posting board (those of you who enter through the Labyrinth
and
not the mainpage miss out on these things!!)
in which I thought it would be
interesting to pair off and write either a series of stories based
upon a single quote
or theme or to do a Round Robin. This would be cool in that different
authors
would get to know one another and we'd also be mixing different ages,
styles and
experiences (in some cases, genders) to get one final product. Besides,
collaboration is good for the soul. Thus far, we have nine authors
set to go:
Serendipity and River
Teri Leigh and Jessica Dubois
Tracy and Serendipity
Blu and Whodinky
Daisy and Kitty
The first pair to answer this challenge is Blu and Whodinky with
their awesome story Smokescreen.
The Third
Write a sequel/continuation to We're Off To See
The Witch by River.
This challenge works the same as the first challenge. Email me your
stories
and I'll be happy to post them!!
The Fourth
(Also submitted by River, you go girlfriend!) Write a story set in a
different
"Buffyverse". More spicifically (heh heh heh) write a story in a universe
in
which Willow is Angel. Take that however you want to. This can mean
that Willow's
male, or she's a vampire, or she has the same personality as our lovable
brooding vamp,
or even that she's dating Buffy, whatever. Maybe all of those, maybe
some of those, maybe none of them. (come up with your own.). Send 'em in
and I'll post 'em!
The Fifth
Finish the sequel to "A Talk
With Old Friends" by HaniT97. Again, email your stories to me
(Serendipity) at trekchic@usa.net
and I'll post them!
