Can This Be True - Chapter 1

     It is almost noon, and Liz is still in bed. Her back is to her door when Audrey comes into her room.

Audrey: Elizabeth, darling, it's almost noon. Don't you think you should be getting up?

     Liz rolled over to face Audrey.

Liz: Sorry Gram, I am just not feeling well.

Audrey: Well, I hope you are not coming down with something.

Liz: I'm fine, really. I have to get up, anyway. I have my third follow-up HIV test today.

Audrey: Oh, that's right. I am so sorry I can't go with you today dear.

Liz: It's ok, Bobbie is going to go with me.

Audrey: Ok, I will let you get dressed.

     Audrey gives Liz a kiss and then leaves her room. Liz gets out of bed, still not feeling well. She got dressed, and a few minutes later Bobbie was outside, honking the horn.
