**TWO YEARS LATER**Liz and Lucky are now 19 and it is one week unitl Lacey's 2nd birthday. Liz and Lucky are still in Puerto Rico. Over the last two years, they have spoken with their families but have not been able to see them. Luke and Laura are aware that Lucky is alive, but it still did not fill the void in their hearts not being able to see him. But hearing his voice on the phone a couple of times has helped. Liz and Lucky have gotten used to life in Puerto Rico, but things were going to change for them very soon.
Liz and Lucky took Lacey down to the mainland to go shopping and get some lunch. When they returned, they walked into the living room. Lucky was holding Lacey, and they were surprised to see who they were seeing.
Lucky: Sonny.
It has been almost a year since they last saw Sonny. He always kept in touch, but it had been almost a year since he was last on the island.
Sonny: Hey, you two.
Maria walked into the room.
Liz: Umm, Maria, can you take Lacey up for her nap?
Maria: Sure.
Lucky handed Lacey over to Maria and then went over to hug Sonny. Then Liz hugged him.
Liz: Wow, it is so good to see you.
Sonny: Yeah, you too.
Lucky: So, what brings you here?
Sonny: I come with good news.
Liz: What?
Sonny: How would you two like to take Lacey home to Port Charles?
Lucky: What, are you serious?
Sonny: Yeah, it is safe to come home.
Liz: Are you sure?
Sonny: I would not have come otherwise. Faison has been killed.
Sonny told Liz and Lucky everything about how Faison's death came about and informed them that it truly was safe for them to return home.
Liz: This is so wonderful.
Lucky: Yeah, when we can go?
Sonny: As soon as you are ready.
Liz and Lucky: Tonight.
Sonny: You got it.
Liz and Lucky stood up and hugged each other.
Lucky: We're going home, baby.
Liz and Lucky packed up their things and Lacey's, and before they knew it they were in the airport boarding Sonny's plane. Seven hours later, they arrived back in Port Charles. They got off the plane and got into Sonny's limo.
Sonny: Where to?
Lucky: My parents' house.
A little while later, the limo pulled into the Spencer's driveway. Liz and Lucky got out of the limo and Lucky took Lacey in his arms. They said goodbye to Sonny and thanked him for everything and then made their way up to the front door.
Liz: You ready for this?
Lucky: It has been almost three years since I last saw my parents, I am so ready for this.
Liz opened the door and they walked in.
Lucky: Hello, anyone home?
Liz: I guess no one's home.
Just then, Laura came flying down the stairs and Luke came out of the kitchen both in total shock to see Lucky. Not to mention to see Lucky holding his daughter who the last time they saw her she was just a day old. Lucky handed Lacey over to Liz and he ran to his parents.
Lucky: Mom, Dad, I missed you so much.
The three of them stood in the middle of the living room, holding each other, never wanting to ever let go.
