When Elizabeth woke up the next morning the first thing she saw was Lucky. She didn't know he had been watching her sleep all morning and he had just closed his eyes. He was in the exact same position except that he was holding her hand. His face had completely softened and he seemed younger. He looked sixteen again. She was mesmerized. She brought her hand up and lightly traced her finger tips over his lips. She didn't notice that his eyes had come open and that he was watching her.

"You are so beautiful," she said softly as if she were in a trance. She was still staring at his lips as she leaned in to kiss him. When he kissed her back she pulled slightly away from him and looked at his eyes. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to…"

Lucky cut her off by kissing her again. He pulled her in tight and wrapped his arms around her waist. Elizabeth moved so that she was laying almost on top of him and deepened the kiss. Lucky was surprised by that and stopped. He looked deep into her eyes and saw something he had never seen there before. Desire.

"What's wrong?" she asked him softly.

"N… Nothing! I was just admiring the view." He tried to sound calm but his body was reacting to the look in her eyes. He could feel her skin against his and it was making him burn with his own desire.

Elizabeth shifted her hips and brought her body fully on top so that her face was just beneath his, the simple movement making their bodies come alive. She watched him swallow hard. . Elizabeth ran her hands up Luckys' sides on the outside of his shirt. She could feel his muscles tense beneath her palms and was amazed. They never took their eyes off eachother as their breathing began to quicken. Lucky put his hands on her waist and slowly pulled her up so her face was directly above his. The change of position made them both groan softly. Elizabeth brought her hands up to his face and took his mouth with hers and kissed him deeply. Lucky wrapped one arm around her back and placed his other hand on the back of her head, deepening the kiss. They could feel the blood pumping through their veins, and she could feel his maleness growing beneath her.

Elizabeth pulled back from him. "Lucky," she said breathlessly.

Lucky cut her off by placing his fingertips on her lips. "Elizabeth," he croaked out, "we shouldn't start something that neither one of us will want to stop." His breathing was heavy and labored.

She sighed heavily and smiled. "You're right," she said as she rolled over.

He sat up slowly and watched her get out of the bed and noticed how short the white nightgown she had on was. He could see the silhouette of her slender body through it as the sun shone on her through the window. She watched his eyes move up and down her body and she smiled. She walked to her bag and bent over to pull her robe out. She had no idea what her actions were doing to Lucky, who was watching her every move. He had also noticed how tight his shorts had become.

"I'm going to the bathroom," she turned to look at him. Their faces were still flushed and there was still evidence of desire. She looked him up and down and smiled when she saw his obvious need. "Make sure you calm down before anyone sees you." She turned and left the room. When she had the door closed she leaned against it.

Luke was coming out of the bathroom and saw her leaning against the door. "Are you okay?"

Elizabeth turned her head slowly and looked at Luke, "What?"

Luke smiled at her, reading the look on her face. He recognized the signs of love and desire well. He knew how Lucky and Elizabeth felt, and he also knew it was worse for them because of their past separation.

She walked past him and entered the bathroom.

Lucky was still sitting on the bed reeling. He could still feel the weight of her body on his own.

Luke opened the door and watched him for a moment. He decided he would talk to him about it later, after Lucky regained the use of his mind. "Come on cowboy," he said placing his hand on Luckys' shoulder. "Let's go get some breakfast."

Lucky stood up back on to his father and reached for his jeans. "Just…just give me a minute." When he had them done up he put a long shirt on over his t-shirt and pulled it so far down he stretched it. "Okay," he squeaked out as he turned to face Luke, "Let's go."

When Elizabeth came down over the stairs she was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. Lucky was sitting on the couch looking through the photo album again and when Elizabeth got close, she saw that he was gently touching a picture of her from her university graduation.

"UGH! That picture is awful!" she said sitting down next to him.

"Are you crazy? There could never be an awful picture of you. Even when you're frowning you're beautiful." He looked at her, "I saw your grad you know?"

"You did?" she asked.

"Yeah, Faison had cameras there. I was so proud of you," he told her touching her face with his hand. "That was the happiest I saw you the whole time I was gone."

"I always thought the only thing missing that day was you, but you were watching. That makes it even more special." She leaned in and kissed him. "Where is everybody?" she asked him suddenly

"My brother and his wife, man that sounded weird," she laughed, "went home, they'll be back later, and my parents are gone to get Lu-Lu. I can't wait to see her." Lucky got up from the couch and picked up her school picture off the mantle. "I hope she isn't afraid of me," he said staring at it.

Elizabeth got up and stood in front of him. "She won't be. She knows all about you from me." She stood on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek. "I'm going to go home. I have to make some calls and I have some very important things that I have to do," she said as she walked to the door.

"What?" Lucky said sounding upset.

"I want you to get cleaned up before your parents and Lu-Lu get back and after you spend some time with your sister I want you to come over to my place. I have a surprise for you and it is very important that I give it to you in private," she said as she pulled on her jacket.

"I want you to be here, with me," he said walking towards her. "Can't all that stuff you have to do wait?" He was practically begging her to stay.

She hugged him tight, "I think you should spend some time with your family."

Lucky wouldn't let her pull away from him, "But you're a part of this family too."

"I know that, but I have something important to do," she said, "Now let me go so you can get cleaned up."

He let her pull back and without letting go kissed her. "I'm gonna let you leave, not because I want to, but because I don't want my sister to see me desperately trying to keep you here," he said making her laugh.

"I'll see you in a little while, okay?" she said kissing the tip of his nose and heading out the door.

"I'll miss you," he said as he watched her leave. She smiled back at him as she closed the door and he leaned his forehead against it. His father had called Sonny this morning and asked him to put some guards on Elizabeth and Lucky after telling him everything he could about Faison, so he wasn't concerned for her safety. Sonny had talked to Lucky and told him he wouldn't tell anyone he was back. But just because he wasn't as worried about her as he was didn't mean it was okay for her to be out of his sight.

Luke and Laura were almost in Port Charles with a very angry Lu-Lu when Luke decided to pull off to the side of the road.

"Are you finally going to tell me why you hijacked me from soccer camp?" Lu-Lu asked her father. She was sitting between them in the front seat with her arms folded across her chest.

Luke and Laura looked at eachother and then at her. "Sweetie," Laura began, "we have some very important, very wonderful, news for you."

Lu-Lu threw her head back and groaned, "You've said that like a million times already. What is it?"

Laura was stumbling over her words, "Well, um, you see, um…"

"Luckys' alive," Luke quickly said cutting her off.

"Luke!" Laura was shocked.

"What?" Lu-Lu said softly, unfolding her arms and looking from her mother to her father, "What did you just say?"

Luke gently took her hands into his, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out like that." He tried again, "Baby, Lucky isn't dead. He isn't in heaven with the angels. He's alive and at our house right now waiting to see you."

Her bottom lip was quivering as the tears fell from her eyes, "I don't understand. How can he be alive? Where has he been?" She turned towards her mother who was crying along with her, "I want to go home. Now. I want to see him."

Luke turned in his seat and pulled the car back on the road, "Let's go then. Let's get you home so you can see your brother."

Laura reached over and pulled her daughter into her arms. They were both softly crying as she held Lu-Lu tight. No one said another word for the rest of the ride home.

Lucky was standing in the livingroom when he heard the car pull up. He was trying to decide whether he should go outside to meet them when he heard the door bang open. When he looked towards it he saw a very grown-up Lu-Lu stopped dead in her tracks.

"Hi!" he said as he began to cry. "Look at you all tall and slim."

She never said a word as she ran towards him and jumped into his arms. They were both crying as their parents came through the doorway with Nicolas and Angela who had driven up at the same time. They too began to cry as they watched Lucky and Lu-Lu hold eachother.

Lucky walked over to the couch with her still in his arms and sat down. He took her little face in his hands and kissed her forehead. "Tell me everything," he said through his tears.

Luke, Laura, Nicolas and Angela sat around them and joined in on the memories. They laughed and cried together the way a family just reunited would.

After they had eaten dinner Lucky asked Nicolas for a ride to Elizabeths'.

"Are you coming back tonight?" Laura asked him.

"Of course I am." Lucky smiled at her.

Luke looked at Lucky, "Can I have a word with you before you go?

"Sure, let's go out on the porch." Lucky got up and went through the door with his father behind him. "What's up?" Lucky asked him as he sat on the step.

Luke sat down beside him and took a deep breath. "Look, I know that you and Elizabeth aren't kids anymore, and I'm definitely not the guy to be talking to about sex…"

"Hold on a minute!" Lucky said staring at his father. "Who said anything about sex?"

"I might not be as young as you remember, but I ain't dead either. I saw the look you had on your face when you got up this morning." Luke raised his eyebrows at his son and waited for him to respond.

"Dad, Elizabeth and I have barely had a chance to discuss anything, let alone making love."

"Well don't you think you should discuss it?…," he stopped and looked at his son. "Have you ever…?" he asked him softly.

"No!" he looked at Luke like he was nuts. He didn't want to mention the prostitute. "Dad when would I have had the chance?" He looked straight ahead before he softly said, "Besides, the only woman I have ever wanted to share that experience with is Elizabeth."

"Did Elizabeth tell you about the night she got drunk at my club?" Luke asked suddenly.

"What? No!" He turned back to his father, "When was that?"

"About two years ago I guess." He smiled at the memory. "There's this Adrian guy where she works that has been after her since she started there and he had asked her out for the umpteenth time."

"Wait a minute! Who is this Adrian?" Lucky asked cutting him off.

"I don't know! Anyway, she was so mad. She kept going on and on about how stupid he was because he couldn't tell how uninterested she was. Every time he asked her out she flatly refused making it very clear that she didn't want to, but he kept pursuing her. I think he has even called here a couple of times looking for her.

"Why didn't he just leave her alone?" Lucky had gotten angry. "What the hell is this guys problem?"

"Relax! He never hurt her, not that I know of. He just gets on her nerves. He likes her, you can't blame the guy for that. She's very beautiful, smart, funny, and she's got a smile that could melt ice." He looked at Lucky who was staring ahead smiling and continued. "She was chugging back straight whiskey the whole time she was talking. Man, she can drink. When she started getting really drunk she started talking about you."

Lucky turned and looked at his father, "What did she say?"

Luke was a little embarrassed. "She said that she couldn't wait for you to come home so she could make mad passionate love to you!"

"She did not!" Lucky was laughing and embarrassed.

"Yes she did. I assumed that it was the booze talkin' what with you being supposedly dead, but she was serious." He softened his voice, "She also said that when she was alone she often imagined it."

"I can't believe she said that to you!" Lucky scratched the back of his head.

"Neither could I." Luke turned his body completely towards his son. "Are you ready for that?"

"Like I said we haven't even really talked about it," he said softly.

"That isn't what I asked you." Luke asked him again, "Are you ready to have make love to Elizabeth?"

Lucky let out the breath he had been holding and looked at his father, "Physically, I was born to love her. Mentally, ..."

Nicolas opened the front door behind them, "Are you ready to go Lucky?"

Lucky was still looking at Luke. "Yeah."
