Sooner Than Heaven - Chapter 15

It was hard to believe, but Lucky was finnaly home. Home in Port Charles. They had discovered they were only about 3 hours from their. THey didn't get home untill the next day though. Lucky just didnt feel ready. Besides, he wanted to spend time with Elizabeth before he had to share himself with other people. They had camped out under the stars all night long, and even from a distance, they had watched the fire works. Lucky told him everything that happened to him the past year. How he tried to escape, and how Faison was always watching Liz. That scared her, thinking the whole year she was beeing watched and didnt realize it. Liz filled her in on what was going on at home. It felt so good just being with her. Funny, he didn't mention a thing about Nickolas, and she didn't either. He was afraid if he did it would ruin things. It was the best night of his life.

"Feel ready?"Liz asked.

"I don't know,"He admitted,"I feel scared."

"So do I,"Liz said. They had passed everything. The doc, The park, Luke's (which was closed for the day), now they were finnaly home. Standing in front of his house.

They slowly, both headed up to the front door. When they got their though, Lucky froze immediatly.

"Lucky?"She whispered.

"I... I... I can't go through with this! As much as I want to... I feel like... I dont feel as if I live here anymore you know..."Lucky trailed off.

"You do, Lucky!"Liz cried,"You belong here more then anyone."

"Then why do I feel like I should be ringing the doorbell in order to get in?"Lucky said, starring at the doorbell.

"Then let me, "Liz said, they pushed it open. The house seemed empty.

"What has happened to her though?!"Emily cried. Emily. Lucky froze. It never occured to him she would be here.

"They must be talking about me,"Liz whispered. Lucky nodded. Everyone must of been worried sick worrying about Liz.

"She just... vanished,"He could here Nickolas say.

"We'll find her,"Luke said,"We just got to keep thinking."

Lucky's heart nearly stopped. How he missed his dad. He could barely believe that in just a few seconds, they would be seeing them again. He then saw them. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see them. Luke, Laura, Emily, Nick, and another guy he had never seen before.

"Who is that?"He whispered to Liz.

"Juan,"Liz whispered back.

Laura gazed toward to their direction, and froze. Lucky jumped back. He couldn't believe his mother was right their, in front of them. Suddenly though, Laura fainted.

"Laura!"Luke screamed. He caught her just as she was about to land on the floor.

Emily turned toward their direction. She turned as white as a ghost.

Luke glanced at Emily,"Emily honey,what's wrong?"

Emily looked speechless,"Lucky?"She gasped.

Lucky nodded. She ran to him. Throwing both arms around him.

Luke turned toward their direction and froze.
