"It's a dead end,"Liz said, panicking. The fire was almost caving in on them. Their was no way out.
"This way,"Lucky said again. They ran toward the left. To Liz's relieve, their was a door. Lucky pushed it. She could see the night time sky. They were out.
"Come on!"Lucky cried. She and Lucky both raced out the door, and ran as fast as they could. They kept running, untill they knew they were safe. They could only see the fire from a distance.
"This is even better then fire works,"Lucky joked. Liz said nothing. She just starred at him. Lucky gulped. He couldn't believe he was out. And he was with Liz. The love of his life.
"How can this be?"She whispered,"I thought you were dead."
"I didn't die,"Lucky said, calmly,"I'm right here."
"But how?"She gasped. She couldn't believe he was their. Her Lucky.
"The fire... it was all a set up,"He explained. He went on explaining the next year and a half. How Faison had kidnapped him and locked him in their. How he had threatened to kill her if he escaped. How up untill last week, he had never seen the sun. but he wished he hadn't. Cause he wound up hurting Liz in the process.
"No,"Liz whispered,"I'm greatful you did. If you didn't Liz whispered,"I wouldn't be here." She slowly brought her lips to his, and for the first time in a year, they embraced with a kiss.
"You don't know how much I missed that,"Lucky whispered when they were done.
"Probaly as much as I have,"Liz grinned,"I missed you."
"I missed you more,"Lucky grinned.
"Well that feeling can end, cause from this moment on, I am never leaving your side,"Lucky insisted.
Liz felt as if she were in heaven. She couldn't believe this was all happeing. Something she had dreamed about so long but she felt it wasn't possible. The impossible was happening. Finally! She jumped into his arms, and he whirled her around.
"Happy fourth,"He grinned.
"You to,"LIz smiled,"This is the best fourth of july I have ever had,"she said.
"Me to,"Lucky said they kissed again.
"You know what I was just thinking?"Liz said when they were finished.
"What's that? How unbelieveable it feels being together again?"Lucky asked.
"That to... just how you got in with a fire, and out with a fire,"Liz grinned.
Lucky laughed. It hadn't occured to him till she mentioned it.
"Hows,"he started to say,"my mom and dad?"
"Their hanging in there... although their going to be on the top of the world when they discover your alive,"Liz said, grinning from ear to ear. "I can't wait to see them,"Lucky grinned.
"You know what Luke said to me the other day?"She said.
"What's that?"he asked, curious.
"I was like, saying how I would never see you again(I was wrong I take that), and he was like yes you will... i'm like what do you mean... hes like you will in Heaven."
"Well..."Lucky grinned,"He was partly right."
"This is heaven on earth,"Liz grinned. She really did feel like she was in Heaven.
"Sooner then Heaven,"Lucky grinned. She grinned back. They both kissed again. Liz felt as if the world was gone and it was just the two of them.
"I love you Elizabeth Webber!"Lucky cried.
"I love you to, Lucas Spencer,"Liz said,"And I promise to Forever..."
"And the day after that,"Lucky finished for her. They kissed.
