Sooner Than Heaven - Chapter 3

It was the next day, and Liz was with Luke outside the Spencer's house.

"I keep having these dreams,"She told him.

"What kind of dreams? About Lucky?"Luke asked, he knew the answer.

"Yes,"She said,"Last nights was the most strangest though.... he was telling me he was alive and he needed me to help him."

"Alive? Really?"Luke said.

"It was so weird though! I like could only here him talk, I couldn't see him, I kept asking him to come back to me, and twice he said it was to dangerous,"Liz sighed.

"I wonder what that could mean,"Luke said, suprised.

"That's what I keep thinking... Luke... it's been a whole year nearly since he died... but I still havent gotten over him!"She cried,"Will I ever??"

Luke was quiet for a moment, taking it all in,"I don't know,"He finnaly admitted,"It's hard, i must say.. i still haven't quite gotten over Lucky myself... it just takes time I guess.... just a little more time."

"The thing is... I don't want to get over him.... I feel as though a part of me is missing though..."Liz whispered.

"I understand the feeling,"Luke said,"I felt the same way when Laura... well you know."

"But you got Laura back,"Liz inquired,"But I will never see Lucky again!"

"You will,"Luke said.

"What are you talking about?"Liz asked,"I will?"

"In heaven,"He answered.

For the first time in a long time, Liz smiled.
