p> Learn the inside scoop and all the behind the scenes action on this semi guided tour of the famous YRU-Up studios

The Set

The first stop on this star-studded tour of the YRU-Up facilities has us visiting the set of YRU-Up. As you can see, It's a very complicated set up. On the wall there are many funny things for all to see. It's too funny in fact to discuss here. You may think, "that's all I need to know about this show. Nothing else is going on. What I see on camera is all there is to the show." Well I don't know what you're on pal, but believe me there is more to see than just the set. That basically leads us to the next part of our tour..

The Studio

Now comes the fun part of the tour, the part you don't see (that much) on the show. This little part of the studio is very important. It has the cameras and the TVs in it. The cameras record us and then we watch it in the TV you see there. The smaller TV bellow is called the Elmo monitor. Don't ask me why for it is too hard to explain. Just rest assured that it is. The Elmo shows us the caller names and or problems. Knowing the callers' name allowed us to make that personal connection with the callers that made YRU-Up the success it was. But you say, "Man, that can't be all there is to the show." Of course it isn't dumb ass. There's stuff even more behind the scene. Let's take a look.

The Control Room

Now this is where the magic happens. Literally. Often times, during and after the show, ancient ceremonies are preformed to ensure a good show. Unfortunately, no one on the show actually knows how to perform these rights, so the show ends up bad. One time though, we accidentally put this spell on this guy so he became allergic to his own face. I really wish we had written that one down.

The Pit

This place is known as the pit. Why, well because it's lower than the rest of the place. You go down the steps and bam, you're in. "But God damn it," you say, "What the hell is the pit?" Despite your rudeness I'll tell you. It's a place were we hang out. Sometimes we hold secret meetings there to decide such varied topics as, "who drank my pop?" to, "where'd my pop go?" Sometimes we write stuff there. I don't know. Why do I have to do everything?

Well that's it for the tour. It wasn't as exciting as I hoped it would be. It kinda sucked actually. Well you know, I didn't try. Besides, it's not my fault this place is boring. I blame the schools. They taught me not to lie. I could have lied to you about this place to make it seem cool, but no, it's against my nature. I can't lie. Do you know how hard that is? I don't think you do. Go to hell.
