YRU-Up, One Man's View

Clinton and the Truth
9/23/98

The Legend of Seira Sean
Now normally you wouldn't find me talking about politics. It bores me frankly. But all this stuff is happening and I feel I should say some things that no one seems to be willing to address. So I want to talk about this whole Clinton thing. The bandwagon's here and there's room enough form me.

I just don't get why everyone seems so shocked. I knew he did it from day one. He's a hound and that's who we put in office. Good or bad, we as a country seem to be in good shape because or despite him. But my complaint here isn't with him. It's with the people of this country. Why is everyone so pissy about him lying? Is anyone shocked that he would lie about having an affair? Hell, that's what an affair is. I would have to wonder about a man that did crack on first blush. It's called trying to get away with it. It's a principle of Americana. If we put a guy on trial for murder he's gonna say he didn't do it. Why? Cause people might buy it and free he goes. But if the guy is found guilty, you don't see people shocked in the streets because he lied about it. Under oath even.

"God, did you see that they found the Back Ally Butcher guilty?"

"Yes, can you believe it?"

"No, I mean, sure he killed all those people and sold them for food, but I did he have to lie about it? Someone should put him away."

Okay, I know that's an extreme example but my point still stands. Be angry that he screwed around on his wife, not that he lied about it. That's all. Don't pretend you would have done any different. If you really want to be mad at Clinton, be mad at his taste in women. For shame sir, you could have done better. You can raise the bar a bit. You're the President.
