JASON BEHR Max Evans
Fans of the WB will already know Jason Behr from his appearances on "Dawson’s Creek," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "7th Heaven." Now he’s back with a smoldering performance as the ultimate teenage outsider.

Behr appeared in his first school play at the age of five. He continued to act, and moved to Los Angeles immediately after graduating from high school. There, he beat the odds and found immediate work as a guest star on the WB’s "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "7th Heaven," as well as "Profiler," "JAG," and "Push." Last season, he starred on six episodes of the WB’s "Dawson’s Creek."

On the big screen, he appeared in "Pleasantville" and starred with Dean Stockwell in the independent feature "Rites of Passage," which debuted at the 1999 Palm Springs Film Festival.

Behr currently resides in Los Angeles. He spends his time away from the set playing and watching sports, and attending concerts.

KATHERINE HEIGL Isabel Evans
Born November 24, 1978, Katherine Heigl got her first camera time at the age of 9 as a child model in New Canaan, Connecticut, her hometown. By her 12th birthday, she had made her feature film debut in "That Night," with Juliette Lewis. By 14 she had had several major roles, including her breakthrough role, the rebellious teenager determined to grow up too fast in the Gerard Depardieu comedy "My Father, the Hero."

Katherine just finished a new independent film called "100 Girls," about a college boy who meets a girl in an elevator during a blackout, later trying to find her although he doesn't know what she looks like. In 1998 Katherine starred in the fourth installment of the cult-hit "Child’s Play" series, "The Bride of Chucky." Her credit list also includes a co-starring role in "King of the Hill," director Steven Soderbergh’s depression-era opus. She dipped into the action genre as Steven Segal’s kidnapped niece in "Under Siege 2," and was featured in "Prince Valiant" and the comedy "Wish Upon A Star."

Heigl has also starred on the small screen, appearing opposite Peter Fonda in the Shakespeare-as-Civil-War-period-piece drama "The Tempest." She played the critical role of 16-year-old Miranda, who is torn between her devotion to her father and her love for a Union soldier.

Heigl continued to live and attend school in New England until her high school graduation, when she moved to Los Angeles to dedicate herself to being a full-time actor.

BRENDAN FEHR Michael Guerin
Since landing his first professional acting job less than two years ago, Brendan Fehr has emerged as one of Canada’s hottest young actors. He makes his television-starring debut with the WB’s new series, "Roswell."

Fehr gave little thought to acting or performing while growing up. Instead, he spent his early years playing sports. Even now, he lists nine sports—including Canadian favorites hockey, skiing, and snowboarding—as his favorites. The studious-minded Fehr was no slouch in the classroom, either—he originally intended to become an accountant.

Fehr’s plans changed during his teen years, when friends advised him to put his good looks to work as a professional model. On a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, in the fall of 1997, Fehr looked into modeling work near his hometown. Within a week, he was signed by his current manager and had landed a guest-starring role on the TV series "Breaker High."

Since then, Fehr has guest-starred on "Millennium" and starred in the television movies "Our Guys" (with Eric Stoltz and Ally Sheedy), "Perfect Little Angels," and "Every Mother’s Worst Fear."

His feature film credits include "Disturbing Behavior," where he was directed by "Roswell" executive producer David Nutter, and co-starred with future castmate William Sadler. He also appeared in "Final Destination" opposite Devon Sawa, and starred in the independent feature "Christina’s House."

Fehr currently lives In Los Angeles.

SHIRI APPLEBY Liz Parker
With a captivating performance on "Roswell," Shiri Appleby is ready for a breakthrough. The Los Angeles-born actress started her career at age four, acting in commercials for Cheerios, Taco Bell, and M&Ms, among others.

More recently, Appleby portrayed a troubled gang member on the WB’s "7th Heaven." She was previously seen in guest-starring roles on "thirtysomething," "ER," "Xena: Warrior Princess," and "Doogie Howser, M.D," and starred on the Norman Lear original series "Sunday Dinner." She also starred in the made-for-TV films "Family Prayers" with Paul Reiser and Anne Archer, and "Perfect Family," with Jennifer O’Neill and Bruce Boxleitner.

Appleby broke onto the big screen in Lawrence Kasdan’s black comedy "I Love You to Death," with Kevin Kline, River Phoenix, and Tracey Ullman.

Appleby is a student at the University of Southern California, where she majors in English.

Majandra Delfino Maria De Luca
With a starring role in Roswell, and at least three movies
set for release this year, Majandra Delfino is taking Hollywood by storm.

Delfino was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but moved with her family to Miami at age 3. During her early childhood, she immersed herself in the arts, enrolling in ballet, singing and acting lessons. Before long, she was performing in school plays and community theater productions. By age 10, she was dancing in "The Nutcracker" with the Miami Ballet.

Although her parents were somewhat dismayed with her acting aspirations, they gave their 15-year-old daughter a six-month deadline to follow her dream. Within just a few months, Delfino secured her first role as Kathleen Quinlin's daughter in the film "Zeus and Roxanne." Soon after, she accepted her first role on a television series as Tony Danza's eldest daughter on "The Tony Danza Show." She is currently involved in several on-screen endeavors including the horror spoof, "I Know What You Screamed Last Summer" and the coming-of-age drama, "The Secret Lives of Girls."

Delfino recently graduated from high school, and now resides in Los Angeles.

Colin Hanks Alex Whitman
Although Colin Hanks made his professional acting debut in "Roswell", he is no stranger to Hollywood. As the son of Academy Award winning actor, Tom Hanks, one might say acting is second nature to him.

Hanks grew up in Sacramento, and attended Loyola Marymount University where he appeared in many school productions such as "Noises Off!"

While "Roswell" keeps him busy, Hanks has also found time to launch his on-screen career. He recently completed production on the upcoming feature "I'll Be You", a high school version of "Cyrano de Bergerac" in which he plays a character named "Cosmo."

Hanks currently lives in Los Angeles, where he continues to devote most of his time to "Roswell."

Emilie de Ravin Tess Harding
Emilie de Ravin continues her role this season as Tess Harding, the mysterious fourth alien who makes the special group of Max, Isabel, and Michael complete. Emilie landed the role within one month of relocating to Los Angeles from her home in Australia.

Emilie came to the public's attention with her performance on the popular television series "Beastmaster: The Legend Continues" where she played the mischievous, but powerful Curupira, Guardian of all Game Animals and the creature who gave Dar his power to communicate with them.

Her rising stardom is based upon many years of performance experience and training. Emilie's training and experience included an intensive workshop with National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia and two acting courses for film & TV with Australia's Swinburne University. Her credits include a two-month engagement with the Prime Time Actor's Studio workshops in Los Angeles. Emilie has also received instruction and encouragement while studying with Australian Producer/Director John Gauci.

Since the age of nine, Emilie has studied classical ballet. At the age of 15, she was accepted at The Australian Ballet Co., an honor she earned by being chosen from a pool of national and international applicants. Performing with the Australian Ballet Company has heightened Emilie's desire and need to act.
