"Yea, that's a question. I mean, he's a vampire. An evil one, so I guess she's not he's favorite person. Plus, you guys said that he was pro in killing slayers" said Cordy. "I really don't know. She also told me they hit a guy, Buffy and that guy with her, a guy that just came into the house, and he turned to ashes... I explained to her he was a vampire..." said Giles. "Well- what do you know about Spike?" said Oz. "Well- he's very impulsive. A man of the moment. Like Cordelia said- he's known for that he killed 2 slayers. He cares only about the instincts of himself and the ones he cares about..." said Giles. "He cares about Drucsilla" said Willow. "I think I got something" said Giles, turning pages in his book "Well- Druscilla was Angel's lover for a while. And when They were together, the three of them, Drucsilla was between them. "You mean- maybe dear Spike was jealous, since Drucsilla was not only his again. Ya know, now that he's not the only one in Drucsilla's life... He can sell Angel in a jiffy". Said Xander. "Possibly. Jealous is one of the oldest feelings. She controls us all" said Spike. "Well- I don't Buffy think he came to him. She wouldn't... Which means he came to her. So he probably had an offer" said Willow. Everyone looked at her "You know- I'll do that and in return you'll do that, or give me something... that kind of stuff". "Well- your have a point there. So he probably offered his help against Angel. But what has she gave him?" asked Giles. "Maybe he's was so desperate that.. He wanted Angel death so much he agreed to help... Even to a slayer. And didn't ask nothing for return" said Cordy. "Can you say as if?" said Willow. "Oh, come on, Cord. He's a vamp, remember? He's not some good guy or something..." said Xander. "I'm afraid they're right. Spike is evil. And I doubt that he would give his help free. To a slayer" said Giles, closed the book and took another one "Even not for killing his competition on Drucsilla's heart". "Come on- the answer is right next to us- If he fought Angel so he didn't fight Buffy.... DUH!!!! So the offer was- Buffy won't kill him and he wouldn't interrupt to her fight with Angel. Possibly he will help. Possibly- help her fight Angel" said Xander. "Well, Xander, you could be right!" said Giles. "That's not such a good offer. You think Buffy would take it" said Oz. "In the condition we were in- yes. I mean, she couldn't pace them all. She wouldn't win" said Giles. "That's my boy!" said Cordy. "Shut up and kiss the winner" said Xander. Cordy kissed him.


Madison St. number 16
Later that day
Tom knocked the door. A young female voice answered. "Just a second" said the voice. A woman in her late 20s opened the door. she was glad to see Tom. "Michelle" said Tom and hugged her. "Tom, I'm so glad to see you. And who's you friend?" asked Michelle "This is Buffy" said Buffy. "Hey. Buffy Summers" said Buffy. "I'm Michelle Weakfield". Said Michelle. Two little kids show up in the door "And this two are my two kids- Randy and Sarah". Buffy noticed bruises all over Michel's face and a big scratch on her right cheek. "You like to come in?" asked Michelle. "Sure" said Tom. They came in. The apartment was small, empty and dirty, in the bad part of the town. A broken TV was on the floor. "So, how was you day so far?" asked Michelle. "Well, I took Buffy to breakfast on 'Lunch Box'. They have the most Delicious toast I had ever ate..." said Tom. Sunnydale High School Library Xander and Cordy kissed passionately for few minutes. "Can you please?" asked Giles. "Forget about them. If Xander is right. we can't know... and we can't know what really happened in the mention that night, or what happened to Angel" said Willow. "Don't be so... We were just kissing" said Cordy. "Well, whatever" said Cordy. "Well. Willow- I think we can know what happened to Angel. The fact that Buffy ran off like that and left that note is putting off..." said Giles. "The possibility that the curse worked and Buffy and Angel are together now" said Oz. "So you mean she probably killed him?" "I'm afraid so" said Giles. "But I was sure the curse worked. I spoke Latin and all. "OH! OH!" said Willow and suddenly yelled "But what if the curse did work but Acathla was awake already and the vortex was on... Buffy killed him anyway- because- we're here.." "You right, Willow" said Giles. "Oh! poor Buffy. It was hard on her anyway killing him, and if his HIMSELF again so..." said Willow. "Poor Buffy, we get that" said Cordy. "Yea. I have to check it out more. Aren't you guys skipping class or something?" asked Giles. "Yea. Literature for me" said Oz. "Oh, just Gym for us" said Xander. "So you go ahead. Go to your class" said Giles. "Giles, what about Buffy. Have anyone seen her? Have you looked for her?" asked Willow. "Yea, Willow, I have. Joyce and Buffy's dad called several motels and hostels in the bug cities. No one named Buffy Summers has checked in" said Giles. "Has her father looked in the street?" said Oz. "Not yet. But he copied some pictures of her and put them in several places. If there would be need, I'll go to look for her" said Giles. "You're the king" said Xander. A young black delivery guy came knocked on the library door. Giles opened the door. "Excuse me. Is there Rupert Giles in here?" asked the delivery guy. "Yes. That would be me" said Giles. The guy delivered him a letter and left. "Thank you" said Giles. "What is it?" asked Xander. "It's an order to give statement in the police. I'd expected they'd do it. It says here you "All the people involved" got it too" said Giles. "We didn't" said Willow. The others nodded. "Well, they probably deliver it now. It's for the evening. 6:00pm. Why don't we all meet near the police station?" asked Giles. "But I have an appointment at the hospital. I'm starting to walk" said Willow. "Congratulations" said the gang & Giles. "Then you should come after it. When is it?" asked Giles. "Just about..." said Willow and looked at her watch "Now". "Let's go then" said Oz. "Bye" said Willow. "Bye, good luck" said the gang & Giles. Oz pulled her wheelchair out. All the others gang members left to their classes.


Sunnydale Public Hospital
Later

"Well, Miss. Rosenberg. You recovered perfectly" said Dr. Alley. "Thank you, Dr." said Willow. "Ok. I guess you can start walking" said Dr. Alley. "Great!" said Willow. "But only with those for the first day" said Dr. Alley, lifting a fair of crutches. "Oh. I don't need it really. I feel great" said Willow, disappointed. "Maybe. But you had a terrible accident, and we don't take chances. You're legs are still weak" said Dr. Alley. "She's right, babe" said Oz. "Ok" said Willow. "And Mr..." said Dr. Alley, looking at Oz. "Oz" said Oz "Just Oz". "Oz will help you. It won't be more than a day till you could go alone. You recovered so well, so it won't be long. I'm giving you the freedom to decide when. But try carefully before you go all jumping" said Dr. Alley. "Yep" said Willow. "You have just one more appointment next week. To check on you. I hope to see you running then, uh?" said Dr. Alley. "Whatever" said Willow, still kinda sad. "Of course she will" said Oz. "Yes, Oz is right. I don't hope. I know you will" said Dr. Alley. "Now try to walk with it" said Dr. Alley. Willow took the crutches and get off the wheelchair with the Dr. and Oz's help. She walked with them for couple of minutes but then she lost her balance. "You see what I mean, Miss. Rosenberg? You can't just satrt walking. But I promise you you'll soon walk like new" said Dr. Alley.


Sunnydale Police Station
Early evening

Alright. You all know you can't say the truth. Well, not all the truth" said Giles in a quiet voice. Giles, Cordy and Xander sat on the chairs in the police station. "Yea Giles. We won't say we were attacked by vampires sent by the suspect's ex-honey..." said Xander. "Well, just tell them you were attacked by some gang which you don't know, possibly drags addicted" said Giles. "What should I say if they'll ask about Buffy?" asked Cordy. "Just say she's you friends and she wasn't involved in it, so 'course not the murderer" said Giles and cleaned his glasses "Oh, and if they'll ask if you where she is, so you don't know nothing. You haven't seen her since then". "Great. That wouldn't be a lie" said Xander. Willow: Entered the station with he crutches. "Wow! Here she comes!" yelled Xander. "Congratulations" said Cordy and Giles. "Could you keep it down?" asked a police officer. "Yea, were sorry" said Giles. "Thanks" said Willow and sat down. "Rupert Giles please" said a female officer. "Yes?" asked Giles. The Police Officer gave him a sign and he followed her. "Xander Harris, Cordelia Chase and Willow Rosenberg, with me please" said police officer #2. Willow kissed Oz. "Good luck" said Oz. The gang followed the officer to the investigation rooms.


Investigation Rooms

"So, Mr. Giles... Will you tell us what happened that day?" asked Det. Setin. The gang was sitting in separate rooms, each one being questioned by a Det. "Yes. I asked kids from the school to help me clean the library when this gang crushed in and start fighting us" answered Giles. "What was all those weird things in the scene, the candles, the old weird books with spells etc?" asked Det. Lauren. "Well, it's Mr. Giles hobby. To do some weird rituals. He believes very much in the Unknown" answered Willow. "Well, I just want you to know that Buffy is our friend, Kendra's too. And I'm sure she's hurt because everything that has happened. And she didn't try to kill us! I mean, she wasn't even there when she happened!" said Xander to Det. Roberts. "So where was she Harris?" asked Det. Roberts. "She was... um" said Xander, stammering. "She was taking a walk. To relax. She does it quite often. To think and relax" said Giles to Det. Setin. "Where you it the fight?" asked Det. Crow. "No, I ran from there as fast as I could. I wasn't brave, uh?" answered Cordy. "Can you describe one of the members of the gang?" asked Det. Lauren. "Well, no, you see, I was unconscious for a while so I don't remember much" said Willow. "Do you know where the Buffy summers is now?" asked Det. Crow. "Oh, no. We haven't seen her since then" said Cordy.


Michelle's House
Later

Buffy was playing with the Randy and Sarah. Tom and Michelle were talking. "He'll be home soon. You two better go" said Michelle. "Alright, Sweetie. But I want you to take this" said Tom and gave her a pile of dollars. "Tom, don't be silly. I won't take money from you again. You helped me enough" said Michelle. "Michelle, I want you take this. I have nothing to do with it. Come on" said Tom. "No Tom, I won't. I don't wanna be rude but I won't take money from you!" said Michelle. "Okay... Well, we should go. Come on Buffy" said Tom. Buffy stood up and walked to the door. Tom left the money on the table and came near her. "Goodbye then" said Tom. "Goodbye. Nice to meet you Buffy" said Michelle and hugged Tom. "Same here" said Buffy and Turned to the kids "Bye Sarah, Randy" she smiled. "Bye" said Sarah and Randy.


Los-Angeles Street
Later

"God. Looking at people like Michelle. It makes you understand how good is you life..." said Buffy. "Yes. The poor girl. So young with so many problems" said Tom. "He's hitting her, isn't he?" asked Buffy, referring to Michelle's husband). "Yea. He comes home drunk every day and hit her and the kids. She's a poor little thing. When I found her she was prostituting" said Tom. "Oh, I guess my life is not that screwed up" said Buffy and smiled "You're about the best man I've ever seen. You're helping me and her. I saw that you left her the money". "Oh, don't, I'm blushing. I'm just happy my life and glad to help people" said Tom.


The Other corner of the street
That time

"Matt?" said Thorn, looking at Matt. "What?' asked Matt, starring. "Oh, she got your attention, uh?" said Thorn after looking to the direction that was starring at. He smiled. "Wow, she's a babe". "She's Gorgeous" said Matt, can't take his eyes off Buffy "She gorgeous".


Outside the Police Station

The all gang came out of the rooms about the same time. Giles came a little after. "Hi Babe" said Oz, Stranding up and hugging Willow. "Well, good I guess. I hope. But I don't like lying" said Willow. "Yea. I think I did just fine" said Xander. "Hey Giles" said Oz, seeing Giles. "Hello. Well, we're done, you can all go home now. Willow. If you could just research something in your computer about what will happen to Angel, or any demon, in hell, I'll thank you" said Giles. "Giles?" asked Xander. "What?" asked Giles. "Shouldn't anyone slay tonight? No one did last night" said Xander. "You're right. I'll go later" said Giles. "No! We'll all go" said Willow. "Yea. We'll meet outside school in the dark" said Xander. "But babe, your legs are weak, remember?" said Oz. "Well- I can walk with the crutches, Ok?" said Willow. "Yes, but..." started Oz & Xander. "Look at me. Sealed face. "Don't worry. I'll just help you guys" Said Willow. "Then it's on. Go home and rest. We'll meet outside the school in half an hour" said Giles.


Los-Angeles Street

Tom stood next to a hotdog stand. "I want two hotdogs. One with Mayonnaise and ketchup and pickles" said Tom and Turned to Buffy "What about you, dear?" "The same, without the pickles" said Buffy. Suddenly they heard a scream. "What was that?" asked Tom. "I don't know" said Buffy, but she guessed... "Wait a sec. Be here in a jiffy". Buffy went closer to the place where she heard the scream from. As she thought- a male vamp was there, trying to bite a young girl. "Boy, are you guys are following me?" asked Buffy. The vamp turned to her. She double kicked. "Run" she yelled to the girl. The girl looked at her for a second and ran off. Buffy punched the vamp, and kicked him several times. She took a stake from the ground and came near to him, punching him again. Tom was looking for Buffy, holding the hotdogs. He went after her. "That will teach you creeps!" said Buffy. She staked the vamp and smiled. "That was an easy one" she said to herself. "Buffy? "What was that?" asked Tom, standing behind Buffy.
